Data Management Lead

• New client acquisition and market engagement • Identify and pursue new business opportunities for data-related services in the market. Build relationships with potential clients, understanding their data management, data modernization, data migration, data governance needs and challenges. • Develop compelling proposals and presentations to win new accounts. • Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to showcase expertise in data management. • Build client relationship and expand opportunities. • Work closely with existing clients to address ongoing delivery related priorities. • Understand evolving data requirements & challenges. • Continuously mine new opportunities to expand the relationship and deliver higher value to clients. • Guide clients on their data strategy and data transformation roadmap. • Help clients in defining a clear Data Strategy and roadmap aligned with the clients' business objectives and technical needs. • Serve as an advisor, addressing key questions, developing assets, managing data domains, and identifying resource needs. Drive the adoption of data strategy, standards, governance, and culture, ensuring sensitivity to organizational dynamics. • Oversee Data Integration of various data sources, ensuring that data is collected, processed, and made available in a structured manner. • Define policies for effective data collection, storage, analysis, and security. Maintain compliance with legal standards for data protection and privacy. • Data Solution Design and Strategy to address client’s data opportunities. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design innovative data management solutions tailored to client requirements. • Define strategies for data governance, integration, quality assurance, and security to address client challenges effectively. • Ensure proposed solutions align with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).

Job Requirements

  • Expertise in modern database systems (e.g., SQL databases, cloud-based solutions).
  • Strategic thinking with a focus on client-centric solutioning.
  • Strong negotiation skills to secure contracts and build long-term partnerships.
  • Analytical mindset for interpreting business requirements into actionable strategies.
  • Experience with the key elements of data lifecycle while designing and recommending data solutions to clients:
  • Scalable Data Architectures: Scalable and efficient data solutions that meet client needs
  • Data Integration: Integration of various data sources, ensuring that data is collected, processed, and made available in a structured manner.
  • Data Security and Compliance: Ensure that data systems comply with relevant security and privacy regulations, including GDPR, HIPAA, etc., and are secure from threats.
  • Data Pipeline Management: Design, development, and optimization of data pipelines to ensure high-quality, efficient data flow and storage.
  • Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize data workflows, addressing bottlenecks and improving data processing speed.
  • Ensure Data Quality: Robust data validation and quality checks to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of the data
  • Client-Facing Data Products: Development of client-facing data products or reports, ensuring that the data delivered is valuable, actionable, and easy to use for clients.
  • Data Governance: Establish data governance frameworks, policies, and processes to ensure proper data stewardship, security, privacy, and compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Data Lineage and Documentation: Documentation of data flows, transformations, and lineage to ensure traceability and accountability
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in winning accounts within the data management domain or similar industries.
  • Strong knowledge of data governance, integration technologies, security protocols, and quality assurance methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage clients and present complex solutions effectively
