Role Description We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Admin Assistant to support the day-to-day administrative operations of a parcel delivery business. The role involves: - Processing nightly delivery reports - Reconciling operational data - Preparing manifests - Supporting invoice preparation - Maintaining accurate spreadsheets and operational records - Communicating updates, issues, and completed deliverables clearly - Supporting process improvements and administrative workflows - Assisting with ad hoc admin and data entry tasks as needed Qualifications - Strong Microsoft Excel skills - Good written and spoken English - High attention to detail and accuracy - Ability to work independently and manage deadlines - Reliable internet connection and remote work setup - Experience in logistics, transport, freight, or admin support is a plus - Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT is highly preferred Requirements - This role is expected to require roughly 20 hours per week. - Availability for occasional collaboration during AU business hours is preferred. - Be available for meetings and collaboration during core business hours. - Disclose any existing ongoing roles or client work. - Reflect this engagement on their LinkedIn profile (clearly marked as “Independent Contractor” if not employed via EOR). Role Description HII - Mission Technologies is currently seeking an experienced Subcontracts Administrator to join our team. This position can be a remote opportunity. You will be responsible for the start-to-finish administration of major subcontracts of high risk and high complexity to the company. You will monitor subcontractor performance for conformance to the subcontract terms and conditions and scope of work. Within the context of a government prime contract, you will be responsible for negotiating and managing complex agreements with subcontractors; this includes supporting the capture and proposal process through contract award and execution. Key Responsibilities: - Manage complex agreements with subcontractors within the context of a government prime contract. - Prepare solicitation documents for complex procurements, including: - Statements of work - Terms and conditions - Flow-down terms and conditions - Bid or performance evaluation factors - Serve as the focal point when bids are received, reviewing both technical and cost or price volumes. - Consult with technical staff and resolve matters of disagreement between HII and subcontractors. - Ensure the receipt, accuracy, and timeliness of subcontractor submitted documents relating to subcontract deliverables. - Monitor performance relative to timeliness, cost considerations, and technical objectives. - Possess working knowledge of government purchasing system requirements and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). - Demonstrate competency in negotiations regarding agreement terms, conditions, pricing, and other government requirements. - Prepare price analyses, negotiation memos, written reports, letters, and memoranda for internal and external distribution. - Maintain CPSR compliant subcontract files. - Review audit files to ensure compliance with purchasing system, industrial and government contract requirements. - Prepare and present briefings to staff and management on subcontracting matters. - Coordinate subcontracting activities with various internal and external sources. - Consult with company staff representing legal, technical, financial, and managerial interests of subcontract awards. - Provide guidance to less experienced Subcontract Administrators. - Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
