The Sr Specialist, Communications will play a key role in advancing the company’s digital and social media presence through the execution of integrated paid and organic social media strategies. This role will own our paid social strategy end-to-end, leading the development, optimization, reporting and budget management for the company’s paid social media campaigns. In addition, this role will play a central role in brand listening and monitoring, and managing organic social media operations and content development for their assigned business segment. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role, partnering closely with business segment communicators, corporate communications, corporate functional teams and Creative Services to deliver effective, on-brand campaigns across social platforms. The ideal candidate is a strong writer, strategic thinker and data-driven communicator with experience managing both paid and organic social programs in a fast-paced environment. Essential Functions: - Own company’s paid social strategy, optimization, audience targeting, performance reporting and budget management across LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Truth Social - Manage day-to-day organic social media operations for assigned business segment, ensuring content aligns with enterprise brand standards and business priorities - Coordinate and partner with broader External Communications team and Creative Services to develop compelling, channel-specific copy and creative assets - Monitor all social channels for engagement opportunities, audience insights and potential business risks - Track, analyze and report campaign and channel performance, providing actionable recommendations to internal stakeholders - Stay current on social media platform updates, algorithm changes, paid advertising best practices and emerging trends in B2B, B2G and defense industry social media - Assist leaders and teammates across the External Communications team and the segment communications teams with special projects and surge support as needed - Occasional travel required (up to 10%) Qualifications: - Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. Preferred Additional Skills: - Extensive demonstrated experience managing enterprise-level paid social media campaigns across multiple business segments, including budget management, audience targeting, A/B testing and performance optimization - Proven track record creating high-quality organic social media campaigns that engage and grow audiences - Strong proficiency with social media management platforms: LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Truth Social - Proficiency in AP Style. - Detail oriented mindset with strong commitment to quality, accuracy, brand consistency and compliance in a regulated industry - Agility to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously and meet deadlines while responding with agility to changing priorities in a highly dynamic business environment - Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and drive alignment across a matrixed organization - Proficiency in Sprinklr or similar social media management and reporting tools - Previous experience in the aerospace and defense industry or another regulated, high-tech or B2G sector - Capacity to translate complex concepts into clear, engaging content - Familiarity with industry trends and best practices in digital media and storytelling to continuously improve content and processes In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $88,000-$164,000. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, and Vermont is $76,500-$141,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
