Staff Product Manager, Cards Monetization

• Lead Card IC+ pricing/product. Launch Stripe’s IC+ pricing on Cards in new geos and grow adoption with enterprise users. • Ensure we enable GTM teams with the right tools and cost assumptions to streamline sales and customer success processes for IC+ product. • Lead Cards Monetization for Stripe. You’ll be defining what Stripe charges for card transactions worldwide. You’ll define pricing principles, drive pricing decisions and operationalize those decisions working with pricing, finance, marketing and GTM teams. • To effectively set prices, you’ll work with engineering and data science to build observability into current pricing, margin and revenue realization. You’ll drive insights, and translate those into pricing recommendations. • You’ll define processes for competitive analysis and regular pricing audits. Over time, you’ll work with engineering and data science to automate pricing processes. • You’ll research best practices pricing automation (such as algorithmic bundling and discounting), and build out an end to end B2B pricing automation stack at Stripe. • You’ll work backwards from customers, and keep a keen eye on competitors to identify new pricing models. You’ll build the business case, find ways to test, and if validated, work across the company to launch the new pricing models. • On a daily basis, you’ll work with various stakeholders across the organization, including Engineering, Design, Data Science, GTM, Pricing, Marketing, PMs and Operations to drive flawless execution on product and pricing initiatives. • Ultimately, you’ll co-own revenue growth and margin improvements for Cards business through IC+ launches and pricing improvements.

Job Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in a product role
  • Deep understanding of B2B GTM, Pricing and Contracting processes and tools
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with engineering, product, data science, and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working with go-to-market teams in a B2B sales environment.
  • Experience in B2B Pricing/Monetization
  • Ability to deeply analyze data, derive insights, and make data-driven decisions. Proven track record of instrumenting and measuring product initiatives, including those with less obvious metrics.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a talent for simplifying complex concepts
  • Proven successes in delivering continuous product improvement as well as 0 ->1 launches
  • Ownership mindset and persistence to work on whatever it takes to ensure that your product is successful
  • Proven ability to deliver high-impact presentations to executive audiences.
  • Has the ability to thrive with a high level of autonomy and responsibility
