• Develop, maintain, and optimize stored procedures used in analytical processes and data integrations for BI systems. • Create high-performance SQL queries to support reports, KPIs, and management dashboards. • Implement and maintain ETL processes and data load routines. • Collaborate with BI and business teams to understand requirements and make data available for decision-making, analyzing scenarios and proposing technical solutions. • Analyze and resolve issues related to query and database process performance. • Ensure the quality, integrity, and consistency of data provided in analytical environments. • Support activities related to evolution, maintenance, incident resolution, and continuous improvement of database routines tied to the BI environment.
Job Requirements
- SQL Server: Strong experience in administration and development on the Microsoft SQL Server platform and use of SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
- Advanced T-SQL: Proficiency in developing and optimizing complex queries, including data manipulation with SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, and DELETE.
- Stored Procedures and Functions: Experience developing, maintaining, and optimizing stored procedures, scalar and table-valued functions for analytical processes and data integration.
- Data Modeling: Knowledge of dimensional modeling for BI and Data Warehouse environments, including Star Schema and Snowflake Schema.
- ETL (Extract, Transform, Load): Experience with data extraction, transformation, and loading processes, ensuring data integrity, performance, and reliability.
- Data and File Handling: Experience importing, exporting, and processing files in CSV, XLS, TXT and other formats used in data integrations.
- Performance and Tuning: Knowledge of database performance optimization, including execution plan analysis, index creation, partitioning, and query tuning.
- Business Intelligence (BI): Conceptual knowledge of BI architecture, dashboards, and analytical processes.
- Versioning and Best Practices: Experience with technical documentation, code standardization, and SQL development best practices.
