• Oversee ERP and transportation management systems (TMS) inputs and reporting • Ensure data accuracy for rates, routing, and carrier performance • Support inbound and outbound freight execution across parcel, LTL, truckload, and regional carriers • Monitor carrier service levels, shipment visibility, and exception reporting to support timely deliveries • Conduct data analysis to identify cost trends, service issues, and improvement opportunities • Serve as a primary point of contact for carrier partners, assisting with issue resolution and performance tracking • Support contract execution and day-to-day communication with parcel and freight carriers • Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) to align daily operations and escalate issues as needed • Partner with Distribution Center operations, Customer Service, Finance, and IT teams to ensure alignment on transportation priorities • Provide logistics data and insights for cross-functional initiatives and reporting • Assist in preparing materials for carrier business reviews and operational updates • Track key transportation KPIs including cost per box, on-time performance, and carrier compliance • Recommend process improvements to reduce cost and improve service reliability • Support operational projects such as onboarding new carriers or system enhancements
Job Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations (parcel, LTL, and truckload preferred)
- Strong knowledge of transportation systems and carrier management
- Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make recommendations
