Sr Spec, Sales/Account Mgmt

Role Description Responsible for selling driving training products, including driving simulators and driver software. Manage all opportunities in each stage of the sales pipeline. Must effectively prospect, qualify, propose, capture, negotiate and close sales for the Driver Business unit. Also responsible for providing marketing intelligence and developing sales plans, business plans, and product development plans. Conducts sales presentations, attends tradeshows, conferences, and product demonstrations with customers. Provides updates and reports on sales efforts to sales manager and senior leadership. Accurately forecast numbers and achieves all financial objectives for the quarter and year. - Responsible for account management and sales for the Driver Business Unit. - Comfortable making cold calls and talking to new people each day. - Responsible for driving simulator and driver training sales. Work with commercial and government clients. - Maintains database (CRM, Excel, etc.) of prospective client information. - Identify market potentials by qualifying accounts. - Be the primary or alternate point of contact for customers. - Negotiate contracts and complete all required paperwork and processes, including RFPs for government contracts. - Help close sales by building rapport with potential account; demonstrating product and service capabilities; overcoming objections; preparing contracts. - Follow-up on a regular basis for current and potential customers. - Respond promptly to customer inquiries. - Find solutions for customers. - Present new or additional products and services to new and existing customers. - Approach prospective customers through numerous mediums like, but not limited to, cold-calling, email, social media, trade shows, etc. - Produce timely and detailed reports. - Build positive relationships with customers. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree with minimum of 6 years prior experience or graduate degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior experience in business to business or business to government sales. In lieu of degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. - Valid U.S Driver’s License. - Valid U.S Passport or the ability to obtain one. Requirements - Ability to work independently with little-to-no supervision. - Tenacity to handle rejection and continue with a positive attitude when reaching next potential client. - Previous experience in B2B, B2G, or B2C. - Proficient in MS Office products. - Building pipelines with channel partners and team members to close sales. - Persuasive and goal oriented. - Ability to work with customers through all cycles of the sales process through closing.
