Role Description We are a growing Australian mortgage broking business looking for a skilled, motivated professional based in the Philippines to join our tight-knit team of three. This is a genuine career-building opportunity — not a general VA role. You will start by owning our loan lodgement and post-submission pipeline (currently managed by our loan processor), then progressively take on credit analysis and scenario assessment support (currently managed by our para-broker). Over time, the right person will become integral to our end-to-end deal flow. We are looking for someone with direct experience inside an Australian mortgage broker office. You must understand how home loan submissions work — not in theory, but in practice. Responsibilities - Phase 1 – Core Responsibilities (Loan Processing): - Application Lodgement & Management: - Data entry into Infynity / Metanoia and Apply Online - Prepare and manage electronic signing of all application forms - Submit completed loan applications to lenders - Chase clients for outstanding documents and ensure application completeness - Post-Submission & Progress Monitoring: - Track all active applications and proactively monitor lender progress - Respond to MIRs (Missing Information Requests) — collect, compile, and submit to lenders - Keep clients informed throughout — application status, lender feedback, next steps - Liaise with conveyancers/solicitors and lenders' settlements teams - Carry deals through to settlement - Deal with Post-Settlement Enquiries - Client Communication: - Handle inbound client enquiries professionally, with clear and warm English - Keep client interaction alive with timely outbound follow-ups - Support the director with callbacks to existing and prospective clients - Phase 2 – Expanded Responsibilities (Credit Support): - As you develop confidence in the role, you will take on credit analysis support to help our para-broker focus on scenario-building and BDM conversations: - Review and relabel client documents (payslips, tax returns, statements, liabilities) - Identify gaps, inconsistencies, or red flags before submission - Add relevant client data into the Fact-Find - Run serviceability calculations independently - Support the para-broker in producing faster, higher-volume outcomes Qualifications - Essential (Required): - Demonstrated experience in home loan submissions to multiple Australian lenders - Strong working knowledge of lender criteria, serviceability, and the end-to-end loan process - Prior experience inside an Australian mortgage broker or aggregator environment - Proficiency in Infynity, Metanoia, Apply Online, or equivalent broker software - Excellent written and spoken English — warm, professional, and client-ready - Highly organised, self-directed, and reliable under time pressure - Highly Regarded (Not-Required): - Experience reviewing and assessing financial documents (payslips, tax returns, BAS, liabilities) - Exposure to serviceability calculators across multiple lenders - Familiarity with MIR management and lender settlement processes - Aspiration to grow into a credit analyst or para-broker equivalent role Benefits - A clearly defined growth pathway — from loan processing into credit analysis - Direct mentorship from our senior para-broker and director - Stable, full-time remote employment with a committed Australian business - A supportive, no-nonsense team culture where results are recognised - Long-term opportunity for the right person who wants to genuinely build expertise in Australian mortgage broking
