Title : IT Project Manager Job Description: IT Project Manager (Atlanta: Full-time, Hybrid) Fisher Phillips, a premier international labor and employment law firm, is seeking a skilled and experienced IT Project Manager to join our team in Atlanta. In this essential role, you will contribute to the seamless operation of our services, providing crucial support to our department in delivering exceptional client service and maintaining our commitment to excellence. Key Responsibilities - Create and maintain project documentation for major projects including project charters, requirements, change logs, etc. - Plan projects and track status for all assigned projects in Jira, including goals, timeframes, resources, assignments, and risk assessment. - Motivate project participants to complete tasks on time. - Contribute to the teams success by pitching in when able and needed. - Communicate status with IT leadership, primary stakeholders, and task owners. - Advise IT leadership of risks to projects critical paths. - Manage and coordinate directly with vendor resources when they are involved in project tasks. - Generate reports on a regular and/or ad hoc basis. - Assist in PMO build out and ensuring Best Practice procedures are being upheld to standard. Requirements - Technology degree and/or 6-10 years of experience and demonstrated ability to manage complex projects effectively. - This position is based in the firms Atlanta Corporate Office, and will work a hybrid schedule. Nice to Have Skills - Experience with process improvement and Business Process Re-engineering is a big plus. - Experience with Training and/or Change Management is a big plus. - Strong understanding of multiple project management methodologies, including traditional waterfall process. - Experience using Atlassian Products (Jira Work Management, Confluence, etc.). - Any marketing experiences is a bonus. - Experience with research and Quality Assurance testing. - Background in legal technology is a plus. - Certifications such as CAPM and PMP are a plus, but not required.
