Senior Specialist, FP&A
Foundation for California Community Colleges
• Assist in leading financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting activities. • Manage tight deadlines and a multitude of activities including costing allocations, budget proposal support, financial reporting and analysis support, year-end audit preparation. • Provide support to other Finance-related functions, such as the month-end close process. • Serve as a senior advisor to program managers and directors, supporting the development of program level financial strategies. • Maintain and update FP&A procedures, staff training materials, and documentation. • Collaborate with the Advancement division and programmatic departments to develop effective budgets.
Job Requirements
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) required.
- Knowledge of Workday and Adaptive Planning, and Excel technology systems is preferred.
- Grant and/or fund accounting experience is preferred.
- Preferred minimum of four (4) + years of related work experience in finance or accounting.
- Preferred minimum of three (3) + years of financial analysis, grant, project, and/or costing accounting experience.
- Any experience in an education or non-profit environment preferred.
