Treasury / Funds Transfer Analyst

PNC

• Executes funds transfers of multiple types and varying complexity using multiple processing platforms under general supervision • Initiates a subset of manual transactions, resolves routine exceptions, and/or provides secondary approval of initiated/repaired transactions • Performs high-level financial reconciliation of processed transactions • Performs initial investigation of reconciliation exceptions • Monitors live transactions within multiple processing applications, follows standard policies and procedures to address exceptions • Escalates appropriately when faced with an unresolved exception or impactful issue • Ensures compliance with the control framework • Identifies and reports potential conflicts with relevant regulations to the appropriate parties • Participation in basic change management activities upon request

Title and Summary Customer Technical Services Analyst II - Japanese Market Overview The Customer Technical Services Analyst II provides high-quality technical support for business (B2B) and enterprise (B2E) customers that have product and service agreements with Mastercard. This role is responsible for driving overall customer satisfaction and retention through strong technical expertise, understanding of customers' core business needs, and effective issue resolution. The role supports customers across Mastercard's products and platforms, including payment gateways and Open API services, while working closely with internal product, application, and shared services teams. The position requires prior experience supporting the Japanese market, with the ability to align service delivery to the cultural values and expectations of Japanese clients. The position operates on a rotational shift starting at 9:00am and ending at 7:00pm JST, Monday to Friday. Key Responsibilities Customer & Technical Support - Provide high-level technical customer service and support across a diverse and complex range of customer inquiries. - Deliver Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for Mastercard's technical gateway solutions, development sandbox, and Open API platform. - Serve as a subject matter expert, accountable for analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving technical customer support inquiries. - Ensure all customer resolution efforts adhere to Mastercard's standard processes, controls, and procedures. Customer Experience & Advocacy - Build and maintain long-term customer relationships, ensuring timely responses and effective issue resolution. - Represent the voice of the customer to product teams, application teams, and shared services groups. - Conduct testing and support activities to identify opportunities for improving customer experience, with the customer journey at the forefront. Continuous Improvement & Leadership - Contribute to the delivery of holistic resolutions for complex technical issues. - Identify and support process improvements in accordance with standard operating procedures. - Lead medium-sized projects or initiatives as an individual contributor, leveraging knowledge of Mastercard's products and services within a specific discipline. - Provide guidance and support to less experienced team members, contributing to overall team capability. Experience & Qualifications - Business-level proficiency in Japanese and English (written and verbal) is required. - Prior experience working for a Japanese company or supporting Japanese clients, with demonstrated ability to align with the cultural values and expectations of Japanese clients. - Proven experience troubleshooting and delivering effective resolutions to complex technical inquiries. - Experience implementing process improvements in line with standard procedures. - Demonstrated ability to serve as a go-to resource for delivering high-quality technical resolutions in a timely manner. - Prior experience working with Salesforce-based CRM tools is strongly preferred. - Demonstrable phone and email communication (soft) skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and empathetically with customers, are a significant advantage. - Experience supporting technical platforms, APIs, or gateway solutions is strongly preferred. Role Description The Senior Associate I, Portfolio Analytics, will support the ownership of data and analytics used across Enstar’s Core and Alternative Assets. This includes working with internal and external data sources, identifying critical elements within these sources, transforming the data into a usable format, and loading it into quantitative models for Enstar’s investment portfolio analytics. Key Accountabilities / Deliverables - Core Investment Analytics Responsibilities: - Capturing and transformation of data from various sources (Clearwater, MSCI, Bloomberg, Excel, CSV files, etc.) within the Investments data warehouse platform (Arcesium) and producing an Investments Book of Record (“IBOR”). - Supporting modelling of core/non-core assets for performance measurement (including benchmarking and attribution). - Look-through analysis of Fund of Funds. - Implementing various dashboards within Fabric or Power BI in support of Investments Team reporting processes. - Alternative Investment Analytics Responsibilities: - Alternative investments data capture, workflow/deal management, and building analytics within Power BI/Fabric model. Qualifications - 3-5 years relevant experience in computer or software engineering, applications/systems development, data engineering, data science, data analysis at an investment manager/insurance company, pension plan, endowment, custodian, fund administrator, investments system vendor, investment consultant or financial services firm. - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Finance, or Science. - Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills. - Fluent in dimensional and data modelling. - Working knowledge of Advanced SQL and building pipelines for ETL processes. - Demonstrable experience and knowledge of Power BI development, including Power Query and Dataflows, designing Power BI datasets, and highly proficient in writing DAX measures. - Data visualization skills in Power BI and demonstrated experience with Conditional Formatting, Tool Tip pages, Drill Through pages, Bookmarks, and Buttons, etc. - Proficiency with Advanced Excel, MDX or CUBE Functions in Excel (CUBSET, CUBEVALUE, CUBEMEMBER), and experience setting up Excel dashboards connected to Power BI datasets. - Exposure to General Asset management for the Insurance industry with knowledge on risk metrics, performance analysis/attribution. - Functional knowledge of alternative investments and analytics such as Commitments, NAV, TVPI, DPI, IRR, Time Weighted Returns, etc. will be a plus. - Proficiency in data storage, query, and reporting/analytics optimization. - Comfortable creating business and technical requirement documents, conducting technical impact analysis, creating development estimates, and assessing project risk. - Ability to read, write, and develop to technical requirements. - Ability to coordinate with external vendors, asset managers, IT support. - Ability to partner closely with Technology, Finance, Treasury, and other functional teams across the company. - Experience with paginated reports (Report builder). - Experience with advanced scripting in Tabular Editor 2.0, and knowledge of DAX Studio is a plus. - Experience with VBA, SQL, Python, SSRS, SSIS and/or other data analysis/programming languages a plus. - Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and departments. - Ability to prioritize, manage, and execute on multiple projects in a high-performance, collaborative environment. - Detail-oriented approach and demonstrated track record of problem-solving in a team-based, results-focused environment. - Passion for continuously improving existing capabilities and a strong desire to help support business growth. - Excellent communication skills. - Progress towards CFA or CAIA is a plus. - Prior experience/exposure working with the Arcesium Data platform (Aquata) is a plus. - Familiarity with the Clearwater accounting system is a plus.
