Role Description - Key member of a team providing mission critical support for an existing suite of in house developed applications. - Provide quality and timely development results, including architecting, building, sustaining, testing, implementing, and configuring applications in accordance with corporate standards. - Lead enterprise application deployment projects, providing technical leadership and working with cross-functional teams. - Define and document functional/technical specifications and support documentation for custom solutions aligned with true business needs. - Build and maintain good relationships with geographically distributed IT resources, business analysts, developers, corporate staff groups, teammates, business representatives, and other stakeholders. - Take ownership of the working environment and strive to make it more efficient. - Seek out, create, and communicate best practices and processes. - Act as a change agent, challenging the status quo and encouraging continuous improvement. - Invite input from others and influence new ideas and processes. - Act as a technical expert in one or more specialized areas of application systems analysis and programming. - Provide application support in a 24/7/365 environment by participating in an on-call rotation. Qualifications - 5+ years of development experience desired.
