About the Role As a Full Stack Engineer at Socure, you will join a high-performing engineering team responsible for building scalable, high-performance applications across both frontend and backend systems. You will collaborate closely with Product Management, Design, Data Science, and DevOps teams to deliver impactful solutions for our customers. You will leverage diverse technologies to design, develop, and implement user-friendly interfaces and robust backend services within a cloud-native architecture. What You'll Do Design, develop, and deliver major product features covering both frontend and backend technical stacks. Build responsive and accessible user interfaces integrated with scalable, secure backend services. Participate in architectural decisions for scalable and modular systems. Write high-quality, clean code; perform code reviews; and ensure testing and documentation standards. Optimize application performance, ensuring fast, reliable, and secure operations. Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, Mobile, and Data Science teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. What you'll bring: BS or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field. 8+ years of experience building complex web applications as a full stack engineer. Frontend Skills Deep knowledge of modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js. Experience with state management (Redux, Context API), bundling (Webpack/Babel), and responsive design. Familiarity with unit/integration testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress). Backend Skills Strong programming skills in Java and/or Golang. Experience building RESTful APIs, gRPC services, and working with microservices architecture. Solid understanding of database design (SQL/NoSQL), background processing, and security best practices. Infrastructure and DevOps Experience with CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms (AWS), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus. Preferred Skills Experience optimizing web applications for mobile devices. Exposure to computer vision, ML model integration, or device-camera functionality. Previous experience working in a cloud-native or serverless architecture. Proven track record of mentorship or leadership within engineering teams.
