• Design eye-catching covers that stand out in a crowded market. • Transform raw manuscripts into beautifully formatted interiors that elevate readability and enhance the reader experience. • Conceptualize and translate the author's vision into compelling cover and interior book designs. • Create custom, innovative book cover designs from concept through final production. • Maintain strong organizational and prioritization skills to effectively manage multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines.

Job Requirements

  • Art/design degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Expert-level knowledge of publishing and design programs, including Microsoft Word, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, etc.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Must be able to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve formatting issues within large, complex manuscript files.
  • Receptive to constructive feedback from both leadership and authors.
  • Self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrates accountability, professionalism, and discipline in managing daily responsibilities.
  • Two or more years in the design and/or publishing industry preferred.
  • Knowledge of PitStop, HTML, CSS, and Premiere Pro a plus.
