Full TimeRemoteTeam 1,001-5,000

Role Description As the Senior Product Designer , you will own the visual and UX design of the Hub experience end-to-end. This includes designing everything from notifications, footers, in-product widgets, dashboards, and internal tools to future user-facing acquisition and conversion surfaces. You will be the design owner inside a small, cross-functional squad, working closely with Product and Engineering to shape intuitive, high-quality experiences from concept through implementation. This is a role for someone who is comfortable working independently across both interaction design and visual execution, without needing a tandem partner for day-to-day delivery. This is a senior individual contributor role, not a people management role. We are looking for someone with strong product thinking, excellent craft, and the confidence to move work forward with a high degree of autonomy. Responsibilities - Design clear, intuitive, and scalable interfaces for both customers and internal users. - Own design work end-to-end across the Hub surface, from early exploration through final delivery. - Translate product needs and user problems into thoughtful interaction flows, wireframes, and polished visual designs. - Develop and maintain a design system that supports consistency across surfaces and products. - Work closely with front-end developers to ensure a high-quality implementation and strong design-to-build collaboration. - Use AI-assisted design workflows to speed up ideation, prototyping, iteration, and exploration. - Participate in user research, usability validation, and feedback loops to improve design quality and product outcomes. - Contribute to a clear written and visual design process, including rationale, handoff, and iteration decisions. - Help shape a product experience that feels coherent across multiple products and brand touchpoints. Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in product design or UX/UI design, ideally in SaaS, platform, marketplace, or consumer product environments. - Strong in both UX and visual design, able to think through flows and interactions while also delivering polished final interfaces. - Proven experience shipping digital products at scale, ideally in SaaS or product-led environments. - Comfortable owning design work independently in a fast-moving, cross-functional setup. - Proficiency in modern design tools, especially Figma. - Strong collaboration with Product and Engineering, with a good understanding of implementation constraints and handoff quality. - Daily user of AI-augmented design workflows; comfort with advanced AI tools is strongly preferred. - Reliable, autonomous, and detail-oriented. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Requirements - At any stage, please be prepared to provide proof of eligibility to work in the country you’re applying for. Unfortunately, we are unable to support relocation packages or sponsorship visas. ESG At team.blue, our commitment to caring for the environment and each other is at the heart of everything we do. Our latest impact report showcases our ongoing ESG efforts and ambitious sustainability goals. Interested in learning more about our dedication to making a positive impact? Check it out here . "Come as you are" - Everyone is welcome here. Diversity & Inclusion are at our core. Far above any technical competence, we value respect, openness, and trusted collaboration. We do not tolerate intolerance.

Title: UX/UI Designer Location: United States Remote Job Id: 566 # of Openings: 1 Job Description: Some designers make things look good. The best designers make incredibly complex systems feel effortless. We’re looking for a UX/UI Designer who can turn industrial complexity into intuitive, elegant user experiences that real people actually enjoy using. This isn’t a “make the buttons prettier” kind of role. We need someone who can dive deep into how operators, engineers, and technicians think, work, and make decisions—then transform those insights into modern interfaces that improve usability, efficiency, and safety in high-impact industrial environments. You’ll work alongside product managers, software developers, automation engineers, and stakeholders to shape the next generation of industrial software experiences. If you love solving messy, meaningful problems and creating products that users genuinely appreciate, this role was probably made for you. Who We Are At Vertech, not only do we develop world class industrial automation solutions for some of the top US companies, we also strive to be the team of choice for the best and brightest talent. I mean, we call ourselves control freaks for a reason. The passion (and intelligence) our employees have is truly mind-blowing. In turn, we work hard to take care of our own with excellent benefits and pay, personal development, and transparent communication. We also know that you can be great at what you do and still have fun. If that sounds like a good fit, help us bring the next generation of automation solutions to industries including data centers, renewable energy, manufacturing, food and beverage, water and wastewater, and more. Top Reasons to Work with Us - Flexible work schedule with work from home options for many roles - Transparent communication from leadership - Competitive compensation including a bonus plan - No more than a 4 week waiting period on all benefits including the 401k - A manager that is cool…most of the time, because no one is perfect - A path for growth, a great culture, PTO, AND MORE! What You Will Be Doing - Conduct user research to deeply understand the workflows, pain points, and goals of industrial users including operators, technicians, and engineers - Plan and execute interviews, usability studies, field observations, surveys, and other research activities that generate actionable insights - Transform research findings into personas, journey maps, workflows, and product recommendations - Design intuitive wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes for industrial web, desktop, and embedded applications - Create modern, scalable user experiences for complex operational systems and data-driven applications - Collaborate closely with software developers, automation engineers, and product stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle - Advocate for the user during planning, design, and implementation decisions - Iterate rapidly based on user feedback, analytics, and evolving business needs - Help establish and maintain design systems, UI standards, and reusable component libraries - Bring clarity and simplicity to environments where complexity is often considered “normal” What You Need for this Position - Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Industrial Design, Psychology, or related field - 5-7 years of experience in UX/UI research and design - Proven experience designing complex B2B, industrial, or operational software applications - Strong proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD - Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills - Strong understanding of usability principles, interaction design, and information architecture - Ability to balance user needs, technical constraints, and business goals in fast-moving environments - Experience working in Agile product development environments Bonus Points If You Have - Experience in manufacturing, automation, or other industrial environments - Familiarity with SCADA systems, PLC interfaces, MES systems, or operational technology platforms - Background in human factors engineering or cognitive psychology - Experience building and maintaining design systems and component libraries - Passion for making highly technical systems feel approachable and intuitive Why This Role Matters Industrial software has historically prioritized functionality over usability. We think users deserve both. The UX/UI Designer plays a critical role in shaping how people interact with Vertech’s digital products every single day. Your work will directly influence productivity, safety, operational efficiency, and user satisfaction across some of the most advanced industrial environments in the world. No pressure. But if you’ve ever wanted to design software that genuinely impacts how industries operate, this is your chance.
