Reporting to the Manager of Provider Quality Oversight, the Provider Quality Review Nurse, RN is responsible for: - Receive and research all PQI and QR cases as assigned, provide a summary and recommendations to the Medical Director of case assignments - Effectuate all action items as determined by the Medical Director to resolution of case assignments - Reviewing escalated issues - Discussing and reviewing cases with Medical Directors referred to the Quality Management (QM) department - Investigation of cases includes, but not limited to, the documentation of case summaries, follow up actions, outreach efforts, and communications in the QM database Commitment to Quality: The IEHP Team is committed to incorporate IEHP's Quality Program goals including, but not limited to, HEDIS, CAHPS, and NCQA Accreditation. Education & Requirements - Three (3) or more years of any individual or combined healthcare experience in quality assurance, quality management, quality improvement, utilization management, discharge planning, and/or case management - Three (3) or more years of work experience in a managed care, hospital, provider practice, or other comparable healthcare experience - Experience preferably in a quality/performance improvement setting - Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution required - In lieu of the required degree, a minimum of four (4) years of additional relevant work experience is required for this position - This experience is in addition to the minimum years listed in the Experience Requirements above - Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM), or Clinical certification in area specialty) preferred - Possession of an active, unrestricted, and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the California BRN required Key Qualifications - Must have a valid California Driver's License - Excellent understanding of performance improvement, quality assurance, and utilization management - Knowledgeable in clinical analysis of health records, assessing or evaluating quality, and identifying problems or issues with care delivery - Microcomputer applications: spreadsheet, database, and word processing - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Excellent coordination skills - Ability to communicate findings and form recommendations based on clinical case reviews - Ability to demonstrate critical thinking, strong problem-solving capability. • Review medical records, claim forms, invoices, and supporting documentation to assess claim outcomes in alignment with Trupanion policies, including complex claim situations • Partner closely with Claims team members and managers to support accuracy and consistency in claims adjudication while contributing to an exceptional experience for customers and veterinary clinics • Assist with the design, preparation, review, and tracking of claim payment verification audits • Support internal and external audits of Trupanion products • Identify trends and opportunities for process improvement across Claims operations • Translate and transcribe medical records and client or third-party communications between French and English • Maintain a high level of accuracy, productivity, adaptability, and collaboration within a fast-paced and evolving environment

• Define and maintain the overall test strategy — unit, integration, API, end-to-end, and regression — across teams • Build and own the automated test suite using Playwright (E2E), xUnit/NUnit (.NET), and API testing tools (Postman, RestSharp, or equivalent) • Design integration and regression tests for EDI pipelines, canonical API endpoints, and data transformation flows • Embed in sprint ceremonies — write test cases during refinement, not after delivery • Own the CI quality gate — no PR merges without passing automated tests; define and enforce the bar • Lead exploratory and risk-based testing on high-stakes releases (scheduler refactor, SSO, canonical model launch) • Develop test coverage for agentic / AI features — prompt regression, tool-call validation, output consistency checks • Maintain performance and load test suite for API endpoints and data pipelines • Produce clear defect reports; triage with engineers; track resolution to closure

• Define and own the test strategy, process, and QA playbook for the product • Move QA upstream by partnering with product and engineering early, so test plans are ready before features ship • Evaluate AI output quality across dimensions like accuracy, citation reliability, and appropriately scoped reasoning • Design and maintain evaluation sets that account for non-deterministic output and catch regressions over time • Test how AI-generated edits apply to documents, including accuracy and formatting fidelity across document structures • Build automated guardrails integrated into CI/CD that cover critical flows • Write structured, reproducible bug reports • Partner with legal domain experts to understand how different customer types use the product, and translate that into test coverage • Approach QA with a product and design mindset.
