Summary Job Description: As part of our Employee Relations CoE team for US and CAN, the Manager, Employee Relations and Investigations is a key team member with a passion for coaching and advising on employee relations issues, including investigations, cases and policy questions, and building innovative new programs to create and maintain a respectful employment experience for our associates and leaders. This Manager has extensive experience in conducting internal investigations and must possess strong analytical, organizational and written and oral communications skills, executive presence, exceptional project management abilities, and a deep understanding of legal, regulatory and ethical standards. The Manager is an effective interviewer, active listener, and a strong communicator, and also has demonstrated the ability to apply innovative-fact finding techniques. Key Responsibilities - Conduct timely, objective, and thorough internal investigations including but not limited to allegations of harassment, discrimination, accommodation, and retaliation and prepare all required documentation. - Working under minimal supervision, maintain a complex and highly sensitive caseload, including investigations from Air Liquide’s anonymous whistle-blower hotline (Ethicall), with experience in conducting investigations in a unionized environment and a depth of best practices and discretion. - Present investigation findings to HRBPs and Leaders and recommend appropriate actions based on investigation results. - Execute post-investigation activities, including after-care, preparing detailed written reports summarizing allegations, findings, conclusions and recommendations. - Provide effective service, support, consultation, and resolution of complex ER inquiries and issues, involving employees of all levels, through informed application of Air Liquide policies programs, procedures, and state/federal/provincial laws. guidance on HR policies and procedures and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and internal standards. - Facilitates tracking of all investigation metrics. Use analytics and AI tools to monitor trends to identify “hot” spot areas and training opportunities for HRBPs and leaders. - Develops, updates as needed and executes effective training tools, and supports or conducts training for HRBP and leaders in the employee relations area. - Maintains strong working knowledge of US and Canadian labor and employment laws, best practices, and current trends and developments in the field. #LI-DNI Are you a MATCH?
