• Intelligent Solutions Architecture: Design and implement systems that use generative AI and agentic workflows to solve clients' real business problems, focusing on time and cost savings. • Technical Leadership in the AI Chapter: Support AI governance, evaluate new market tools, and define the team's intelligent development standards. • Performance Optimization: Ensure AI solutions integrated into the existing platform (Java/GCP) are resilient, secure, scalable, and cost-effective. • Efficiency Metrics: Help measure the productivity gains generated by using GitHub Copilot and Claude Code within the development team.

Job Requirements

  • Core: Artificial Intelligence & AI Engineering (Primary Focus)
  • Mastery of the AI stack on GCP: Advanced hands-on experience implementing solutions using Vertex AI, Model Garden, management and tuning of LLMs (Gemini), and semantic/vector search tools.
  • Agentic Workflows and Automation: Strong knowledge in designing and orchestrating autonomous AI agents (agentic workflows), including connecting LLMs to databases, external APIs, and supporting complex decision-making.
  • Maximizing Productivity with AI: Advanced usage and technical leadership in adopting tools like GitHub Copilot and AI assistants to optimize the team's delivery time.
  • Backend as Foundation: Strong experience with Java (11/17+) and Spring Boot, focusing on building the microservices and APIs required to expose, integrate, and support AI models.
  • Frontend Awareness (Angular 14+): Knowledge of how to consume and render AI responses in real time (data streaming, conversational interfaces / predictive UI).
  • Cloud & Infrastructure (GCP): Experience with scalable deployments using Cloud Run, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), and messaging services (Pub/Sub).
  • Databases: Hands-on experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/Cloud SQL) and non-relational or vector stores (RAG structuring).
  • Nice-to-haves:
  • Claude Code Expertise: Advanced experience using and customizing Anthropic's CLI for deep automation of refactoring, testing, and navigating complex codebases.
  • Knowledge of Profitability and FinOps for AI: Understanding the lifecycle costs of AI solutions (cost per token, latency, choosing open vs proprietary models) to ensure project financial efficiency.
  • Familiarity with agent orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, CrewAI, or LlamaIndex).
  • Active Google Cloud certification (focused on Machine Learning Engineer or Cloud Developer).
