Job Description

Senior Online Engineer

Bad Robot Games

• Own and implement our multiplayer online systems using Unreal 5 • Communicate and collaborate with multiple disciplines to ensure the right services are implemented and optimized • Utilize your network experience to run multiple online services, including but not limited to socials, matchmaking, and everything in between • Optimize networks for performance, bandwidth, and memory • Manage database structures and functionality

Job Requirements

  • Shipped at least 1 major online multiplayer title
  • 3+ years of experience with Unreal, Unity, or proprietary AAA engines
  • 5+ years of experience with C++ in a professional environment
  • Experience with Pragma, AccelByte, Playfab or other similar platforms
  • Experience with Java, Kotlin, or other JVM languages
  • Experience with databases
  • All of our roles require up to 10% air travel.
