Your role will involve developing and implementing strategies to support our global talent mobility objectives, ensuring a seamless transition for employees across borders, and delivering superior services to our business. Key responsibilities: Strategy: Implement aglobal mobility strategyaligned with business objectives, ensuring it supports talent acquisition, retention, and development goals. Policy Development: Maintain and update global mobility policies and guidelines, addressing areas such asemployee relocation, international assignments, immigration, tax compliance, and related matters. Program Management: Manage the end-to-end process of employee mobility, includingassignment planning, immigration processes, tax equalization,relocation assistance, and repatriation. Compliance: Stay current with international laws, regulations, and best practices related to global mobility, ensuring compliance with immigration, tax, and employment regulations in various jurisdictions. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with HR business partners, talent acquisition teams, legal, finance, and other departments to ensure alignment and support for global mobility initiatives. Data Analysisand Reporting: Collect and analyze data related to mobility programs, providing insights and recommendations to optimize processes and improve program effectiveness. Team Management: Act as the primary point of contact for specialists managing international assignments and relocations, offering guidance, support, and assistance throughout the process. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and innovation in global mobility practices, driving initiatives to enhance efficiency, employee experience, and business impact. Qualifications for the role: - To excel in this role, you bring a solid foundation of qualifications and experiences that position you as a leader in global mobility. You hold a bachelor’s degree in HR management, business administration, international relations, or a related field. An advanced degree or certifications such as GMS, CRP, or SCRP would be a valuable asset, showcasing your commitment to excellence in this domain. - Your proven track record includes at least 10 years of leadership experience in global mobility management, where you have successfully overseen teams managing international assignments andemployee relocationprograms. Location: Wood Dale, IL (Hybrid – minimum 3 days onsite) Reports to: Global Procurement Director In this role, a typical day will look like: - Manage overall responsibility of material spend between $40M-$50M used in production of Videojet for fluids ,Dyes, solvents, additives, packaging, blow mold, injection mold thermal transfer ribbons. - Develop, negotiate, and complete contracts/agreements with suppliers that minimize TCO, improve quality, minimize supply risk, and assure on-time delivery. - Develop an in-depth knowledge of chemical commodities, global supply markets, new technologies, supply landscape and pricing trends. - Build and lead a pipeline of PPV/VAVE projects by conducting cross functional workshops throughout Videojet Technologies Inc. and help implement them. - Develop and implement working capital turns improvement programs including payment terms extension, inventory reduction, lead time reduction, Consignment and 3PL - Prepare and conduct RFQ/RFQ’s and analyze quotes, including conducting e-auctions as needed.
