Oracle Cloud HCM Assessment Consultant – Temporary

• Support HCM cloud activities across the project lifecycle • Perform a holistic review of the Oracle Cloud HCM system, including Core HR, Payroll (primary focus), Benefits (primary focus), Time & Labor, Absence Management, and Security • Evaluate system configuration against Oracle leading practices and industry benchmarks • Assess payroll and benefits workflows within the HCM system by analyzing processes and known bugs, with the goal of identifying opportunities for improved accuracy, compliance, and efficiency • Assist in maintaining stakeholder alignment and engagement for HCM-related initiatives • Partner with departments across the organization to identify pain points and implement process improvements, system enhancements, and efficiencies within the HCM platform • Conduct detailed assessments of Payroll configuration, processing, and controls, earnings, deductions, tax setup, and compliance • Review payroll reconciliation processes and audit controls • Conduct detailed assessment of Benefits plan design, eligibility rules, enrollment processes, and numerous integrations • Assess benefits administration accuracy and integration with payroll • Identify risks, inefficiencies, and overall gaps between system capabilities and business requirements • Evaluate automation opportunities to remove or limit manual workarounds • Assess data integrity, reporting capabilities, and data governance practices • Review inbound/outbound integrations (e.g., vendors, GL, benefits carriers) • Evaluate system performance and data flows • Assess use of Fast Formulas, HDL, HCM Extracts, and reporting tools • Analyze metrics and reporting to support process improvement and system optimization • Conduct interviews/workshops with HR, Payroll, Benefits, and IT stakeholders • Gather feedback on system usability and pain points • Provide subject-matter expertise and guidance on best practices
Job Requirements
- Minimum of ten years of experience working directly with Oracle Cloud HCM
- Experience supporting HCM or HR-related projects with strong hands-on expertise in Payroll and Benefits
- Proven experience conducting system assessments, audits, or health checks
- Experience with full HCM lifecycle implementations and/or post-go-live optimization
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Master’s degree preferred
- Oracle Cloud certifications (HCM, Payroll, Benefits)
- Experience in multi-state or complex payroll environments
- Prior consulting experience with system optimization engagements

Description The Role The Technical Assistance Center (TAC) exists to support dealers with diagnostic and repair guidance so we can achieve our goal of fixing it right the first time and delivering a positive customer experience. TAC also plays a critical role in ensuring that business intelligence generated through case activity is shared with Engineering and Quality, so product issues are identified, communicated, and addressed. The TAC Escalation Team (E-Team) Consultant provides live and remote support to other TAC Consultants and GM dealer personnel to assist with vehicle diagnosis, independently manages complex or difficult cases, and uses expert knowledge of TAC ETA processes, diagnostic practices, and escalation workflows to drive case progression. This role determines when to engage a Field Service Engineer (FSE) based on vehicle issues, predefined escalation criteria, and requests from field personnel. In addition, E-Team members are responsible for identifying patterns, creating, and sharing product issues and resolutions, including service information feedback, preliminary service information, and case-closing resolutions. This role partners closely with Brand Quality, Engineering, and cross-functional business partners to identify and resolve current and launch-related product issues. The E-Team Consultant also supports the organization in building a customer-centric operating model, recommending process improvements, developing presentations, and communicating effectively with key partners and leadership while maintaining efficiency in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
