Senior Manager, Global Tax Provision
Avery Dennison
• Lead critical global tax provision workstreams and serve as the primary income tax liaison for Brazil. • Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of global income tax accounting and reporting processes. • Deliver accurate results in a high-stakes, deadline-driven environment. • Partner closely with regional tax teams in the Netherlands and Hong Kong.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 10+ years of progressive tax experience within a publicly traded company and/or a Big 4 accounting firm.
- Demonstrated competency in issue identification and resolution, analytical flux analysis, and the ability to oversee complex ASC 740 workstreams.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to form actionable recommendations based on sophisticated scenario modeling.
- Experience with OneSource UTP, Hyperion HFM/Smart View, and MS Office is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA (or equivalent) is required. Master’s degree in Tax or Accounting is highly preferred.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the presence and clarity required to interact effectively with executives, operations managers, and finance directors across corporate departments.
- A "hands-on" leader who thrives in a collaborative, team-based environment and maintains high attention to detail while managing fast-paced, deadline-oriented workflows.
- An advocate for change who looks beyond "how things were done in the past." You should possess the ability to identify alternative approaches that streamline processes and reduce complexity.
