• Work on programs and strategies for compounds in multiple stages of development • Gain experience and exposure in drug development intended to address unmet medical needs • Use creative problem-solving skills to develop new ideas and insights • Partner with other regulatory team members in building solutions for real-life business challenges • Collaborate with the US Regulatory Affairs team members • Support and attend Regulatory Team meetings • Participate in cross-functional team meetings and support the drafting, review, and approval of regulatory deliverables • Support colleagues in handling submissions as needed and tracking documents’ status
Job Requirements
- Currently obtaining an undergraduate degree in the life sciences or other related degree
- Proficient in Microsoft Office

• A member of the Compliance Corrections team responsible for the remediation and reporting activities to ensure successful resolution of identified non-compliance with Marketplace and Commercial regulatory requirements, contractual obligations and Company policies and procedures. • Supports the internal and external corrective action plan lifecycle and related reporting. • Partners with Product Compliance teams, Shared Services leadership, and market leaders to ensure successful and timely remediation of identified compliance issues. • Collaborates with compliance and business stakeholders to ensure adequate root cause analysis and development of corrective actions plans to effectively address non-compliance. • Reviews and oversees progress towards remediation and documented key milestones in GRC tool. • Identifies issues that require escalation and ensures they are addressed timely through established paths and processes. • Conducts review of evidence to address root cause of issue and facilitate timely closure of issues. • Facilitates escalation of barriers identified by other Corrections staff. • Develops, implements and continually refines corrections reporting that provides meaningful trend analysis for business stakeholders and senior leadership on new, in progress and closed issues as well as regulatory sanctions. • Supports management in the development and maintenance of corrections processes and tools designed to effectively remediate compliance issues in a timely manner, ensure timely escalation and sustainable resolutions. • Educates, encourages, and assists those within the company to maintain integrity through correction of identified non-compliance to meet the requirements of Government-sponsored health care programs. • Performs other duties as assigned. • Complies with all policies and standards

About the team The Legal, Risk & Compliance (LRC) team at Airwallex is a collaborative group of legal minds and risk management experts. What you'll do As the Director of Compliance Monitoring and Oversight, you will be the global architect of Airwallex's "Second Line of Defense" assurance function. You will lead a small, high-performing international team responsible for validating the effectiveness of our financial crime controls across all regions and products. While we have a robust foundation in place, this role is about taking our assurance capabilities to the next level. You will be responsible for maturing our global monitoring framework to ensure it is scalable, data-driven, and aligned with the complexities of our rapidly expanding footprint. You will move beyond box-ticking to provide strategic insights on control health to the Board and Senior Management, helping the business grow safely and sustainably. Responsibilities Global framework strategy: Own the strategic evolution of the Compliance Monitoring and Oversight framework. • Monitor, interpret, and communicate updates to federal, regional, and international safety standards and related test regulations applicable to hardgoods and instrumentation products • Provide regulatory compliance assessments for new instrumentation products and product modifications, ensuring adherence to applicable safety and performance requirements • Collaborate with contract manufacturers and Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratories (NRTLs) to review critical component lists, support product development activities, and manage ongoing product modifications and replacement parts • Review, edit, and proofread NRTL safety reports, related technical documentation, and instrument manuals, updating materials as needed in accordance with corporate processes • Maintain and manage the regulatory hardgoods budget, including tracking and reviewing monthly regulatory expenses, processing purchase orders, and overseeing payments for instrument safety, EMC, emissions testing, and country certification fees • Track and manage instrument certification timelines, including NRTL annual fees and quarterly factory inspections, and coordinate with product teams and regional regulatory partners to support global certifications (e.g., REACH, RoHS, Certificates of Compliance)
