About Brain Co. Brain Co. is an Applied AI startup founded by Elad Gil and Jared Kushner, and backed by many of Silicon Valley’s leading builders — including Patrick Collison (CEO of Stripe), Andrej Karpathy (Cofounder of OpenAI), Mike Krieger (CPO of Anthropic), Kevin Weil (CPO of OpenAI), and Aravind Srinivas (CEO of Perplexity). We are building an AI platform and applications for the world’s most important institutions - delivering impact on real-world problems. Our progress so far Automated construction permitting for a sovereign government → 80% faster, unlocking $375M+ in value Optimized supply chains for a leading global energy company → 30% lower cost, 99% reliability, preventing $100M+ in losses Streamlined hospital patient care across national health systems → 40% better outcomes, 80% less admin work Raised a $30M Series A from top investors Built a team of 40+ AI experts from Tesla, Google DeepMind, NVIDIA, and Databricks At Brain Co., your work will be deployed in the real world, not stuck in research. We move fast, with more demand than we can serve, and are looking for exceptional people to take ownership from day one. About the Role We’re looking for a Technical Sourcer to help build the foundation of our engineering recruiting engine at Brain Co. You’ll partner directly with engineering leadership to identify, engage, and inspire world-class engineers to join our team. This isn’t a coordination role — you’ll own pipeline creation for some of the most competitive talent pools in the world (AI/ML, Product, Platform). Your work will be critical to scaling Brain Co.’s engineering team, ensuring we can keep up with demand from Fortune 50 companies and government systems around the globe. You’ll be responsible for mapping talent markets, creating targeted outreach strategies, and building the kind of candidate experience that gets top engineers excited to work with us. This is a rare opportunity to join a fast-scaling AI startup at Series A and directly shape the caliber of our technical team. You Might Thrive in This Role If You: Have 1–3+ years of sourcing experience (agency or in-house) with a focus on engineering or technical talent. Are energized by the hunt — you love researching markets, finding hidden talent, and cracking into competitive pipelines. Know how to write compelling outreach that gets responses from engineers drowning in recruiter messages. Are highly organized and can juggle multiple searches without dropping details. Care about candidate experience and see sourcing as the start of the relationship, not just a numbers game. Thrive in ambiguity — you don’t wait for perfect direction, you iterate and figure it out. Want to grow into a full-cycle recruiter role as Brain Co.’s team expands. Believe in Brain Co.’s mission to bring applied AI into the real world and want to help us hire the people who will make that possible.
