Role Description We are seeking a dynamic Product Manager to lead the development, enhancement, and adoption of our automotive repair solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the success of products in your portfolio, from ideation through to launch and beyond. Job Responsibilities - Product Planning & Roadmap Development: Responsible for crafting and owning the product roadmap and communicating product strategy to stakeholders and supporting customer-facing teams, ensuring that the product is scalable and ready to meet the needs of our customers. - Gather customer feedback: Research and gather feedback to define product vision, ensuring that we build the right products/features and those features are built the right way to add value to our customers. Conduct UI/UX review sessions internally and externally throughout the development cycle to ensure we are hitting the mark. - Product Excellence: Lead the product development process from gathering requirements to defining features to build through user story creation, review, and prioritization. Advocate for best practices and ensure that products are developed with user experience and business value in mind, ensuring that installation, training, support, and testing requirements are built into user stories. - Team Training & Development: Train internal teams, including product, sales, and customer support, on new software launches, product updates, and feature enhancements. Ensure teams are equipped to understand and communicate product benefits effectively. - Cross-Departmental Coordination: Collaborate with development, product marketing, and customer support teams to guide the overall timeline of product launches and ensure cross-functional alignment. Guide other departments in meeting product delivery targets. Work with sales, finance, and other business leaders to develop pricing and go-to-market strategies to successfully launch new products and features. - Internal Resource Management: Act as a liaison between departments to manage resources, resolve issues, and ensure that any internal roadblocks to product delivery are swiftly addressed. - Post-Launch Support: Monitor post-launch performance, work with teams to resolve issues, and ensure that feedback is incorporated into future product iterations. Guide internal departments on maintaining high product quality post-launch. - Timeline & Milestone Tracking: Own the product development timeline, ensuring all internal milestones are met. Guide departments in adhering to timelines and identify potential delays early, providing solutions to keep projects on track. - Artificial Intelligence: Adopt an AI aware product mindset, using AI first to improve efficiency and effectiveness across the product lifecycle and contribute to longer-term thinking around scalable, customer-facing AI capabilities. Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on Agile development best practices. - Experience working with customers in their environment to gather requirements and translate customer needs into user stories and functional solutions. - Strong external communication skills, with the ability to effectively promote, sell, and train the product. - Experience working with internal teams to successfully launch new products and enhance existing ones. - Strong internal communication skills, with the ability to train and guide cross-functional teams on product features and delivery processes. - Proven experience in leading product development, communicating timelines, and ensuring the alignment of different departments. - Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and best practices in product management. - Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple internal projects simultaneously. - Strong organizational and project management skills, with a focus on hitting key milestones and deadlines.
