Role Description RTI is seeking someone that will help support our Commercial customers in the EMEA territory. You will be working closely with the Account Manager in the region to help drive growth of our products and services. Qualifications - BS or higher in technical field, MS preferred. - Ability to Travel (~20-40%) and on-site work is required to achieve job objectives. - 5+ years in Distributed Systems Industry in a technical role (including, for example, experience with Medical, Industrial, Energy or similar Commercial networking technology). - Strong understanding of OS (e.g. Threading, etc) and networking concepts (E.g. UDP, Multicast, OSI Layer switching, routing, VLANs). - C/C++ development expertise and understanding of SDLC processes. - Excellent presentation skills, coupled with excellent oral and written communication skills. - Ability to communicate with customers and internal stakeholders in English. - Experience designing a high-level technical solution/architecture based on customer requirements. - Experience working in a customer facing role. Your Opportunity Stantec's Colorado team is currently seeking an experienced Biologist for our Environmental Services Group based out of either Denver or Fort Collins, Colorado. The successful candidate will work in a team environment and will be responsible for field team leadership and managing tasks related to natural resource surveys (e.g., wildlife surveys, habitat evaluations). Specifically, this role will involve leading the development of technical wildlife and botanical documents, coordinating and/or leading wildlife, habitat, and/or botany field surveys, and assisting with environmental permitting for a variety of clients. The right candidate will be focused on and have a technical background in wildlife biology and/or botany. Your Key Responsibilities - Planning, overseeing, and/or conducting wildlife and plant field survey techniques to inventory and monitor for special status species for a variety of different project types including renewable energy, energy transmission and generation, mining, transportation, and private development. - Leading the preparation and review of technical documents, such as baseline survey reports for natural resource studies (e.g., wildlife, vegetation, wetlands) and/or sections of NEPA documents. - Assist in the development of proposals (scope and/or budgets) for natural resource tasks as part of a team. - Ability to travel throughout the state and occasionally across the Mountain West to conduct surveys.
