Head of Procurement/Supply Chain

Andromeda

• Understand the supply chain for compute across the globe and provide insight to our platform • Enable GPU cluster build outs end to end • Analyze Bill of Materials and provide advice on optimizing different trade offs • Interact with OEMs, ODMs, integrators, parts suppliers across the ecosystem • Negotiate with suppliers to create better economics • Advise trade offs between SKUs, parts, cluster design • Cultivate ODM/white-box channels • Manage networking vendor relationships • Storage partners (WEKA, VAST, Pure, DDN) and power/cooling/CDU vendors

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a relevant field, e.g. supply chain in compute
  • Existing network of contacts in the compute market (OEMs, suppliers, neoclouds)
  • Deep understanding of the GPU compute market—what drives supply and demand
  • Strong written and verbal communication across technical and commercial stakeholders
  • Sound judgment in decisions that directly impact revenue and cost
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity
  • Self-directed and energetic, able to operate autonomously while collaborating cross-functionally
  • Bias toward action in a fast-paced environment
