• Serves as lead paralegal on commercial real estate timberland transactions • Drafts closing documents • Coordinates and manages large and complex commercial real estate transactions • Takes lead role in title, legal description and GIS mapping reviews • Maintains checklists and tickler system to ensure due diligence matters are completed • Prepares closing binders and follows-up on outstanding post-closing matters • Utilizes, creates or establishes procedures to organize documents • Maintain files reflecting work product and progress on large projects • Creates and maintains transactional files • Performs other work-related duties as may be assigned

Job Requirements

  • 4-year College Degree is required
  • Paralegal Certificate is preferred
  • Five to Seven years of commercial real estate experience is required
  • Prior experience with timberland or agricultural properties is highly preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills are required
  • Strong Microsoft Office capabilities (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required.
