Multidisciplinary Capstone (Winter 2027)

Role Description This variable-content seminar provides a capstone experience in the conduct, presentation, and writing of research in a multidisciplinary context. This course is a required capstone course for the Honours BA in Multidisciplinary Studies program. The purpose of the course is to enable students to bring together their learning across the program in an integrative way. - Students will select a research topic of personal and professional interest. - Work through the research process with their instructor and peers throughout the term. - Complete a 3000–4000-word research project. - A draft syllabus has been created for this course to ensure consistency for Multidisciplinary majors as this is the sole mandatory course in the program. Qualifications - Master’s Degree - Discipline: Humanities, Social Sciences or Education - Preference will be given to those applicants who submit a teaching dossier with evidence of training and/or teaching experience in core academic competencies (reading, writing, research, oral presentation).
