Title: Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist - Psychiatric Emergency Response Flexible Time City/State Virginia Beach, VA Work Shift Weekend Days Job Description: Overview: Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital is now hiring a PRN Remote Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist. Must be located in Virginia. This position will be a part of the Psychiatric Emergency Response team that completes assessments for emergency department patients with mental health needs. Schedule: Seeking therapists who are able to work shifts on the weekends, at least 3 shifts per month. Education Master's Degree - Social Work, Counseling, or other related field (Required) Certification/Licensure - Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) - (Required) Experience - At least 1 years of outpatient or inpatient experience. (Preferred) Duties/Responsibilities - Assesses the social, psychological, cultural, environmental, and financial situation, as well as disposition needs, for each assigned patient. - Collaborates with patients, families, healthcare team members, and community agencies to develop and implement plans to address identified needs. - Evaluates effectiveness of developed plans and initiates change as needed.
