Job Description

Senior Technical Product Manager – Platform, Integrations

Virtuous

• Own and scale the Virtuous Integration Marketplace. Expand verified integrations, improve partner onboarding, drive adoption metrics • Drive strategy and facilitate implementation of strategic integrations across Virtuous products • Develop the broader Partner & Creator Network vision: an in-app resource hub for customer, partner, and community-generated templates, workflows, and resources across all Virtuous products • Influence marketplace economics, quality standards, certification programs, and partner incentive structures • Define and execute Virtuous’s agentic integration strategy — MCP server support, n8n/Zapier native nodes, AI-powered workflow orchestration • Build Virtuous’s position as an AI-forward platform that nonprofits and our partners can extend through agentic workflows • Stay ahead of the rapidly evolving integration landscape: evaluate, prototype, and ship capabilities that keep Virtuous at the leading edge • Collaborate with product squads to ensure AI capabilities extend through the integrations layer • Own relationships and roadmaps for strategic technology partners • Manage cross-product integration surfaces and drive integration-related requirements — ensuring CRM+, Raise, Insights, Momentum, Volunteer, and Analytics work together seamlessly • Own foundational platform integration services • Serve as the technical product voice in partner conversations — representing Virtuous’s platform capabilities, roadmap, and integration architecture • Collaborate closely with Partner Marketing & Enablement to ensure partners have the technical resources, documentation, and support needed to build and sell on Virtuous • Help shape partner strategy on the technical side: which partners to invest in, what integrations to prioritize, how to structure co-development efforts • Influence partner-sourced pipeline and expansion revenue through better technical enablement and integration quality

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience with at least 2 years focused on platform, API, or integrations products in a B2B SaaS environment
  • Technical fluency: you can read API documentation, discuss REST architecture, understand webhook patterns, evaluate authentication schemes, and hold your own with engineers, even if you’re not writing production code
  • Demonstrated experience managing technology partner relationships — not just building integrations, but nurturing the human relationships that make ecosystems work
  • Strong understanding of the modern AI-forward integration landscape: iPaaS platforms (Zapier, Make, n8n), API management, webhook infrastructure, and emerging agentic/AI patterns
  • Experience with marketplace or ecosystem product management: building something that others build on top of
  • Exceptional communication skills — able to translate between deeply technical partner engineering teams, business-focused revenue stakeholders, and executive leadership
  • Self-directed and resourceful: comfortable operating with high autonomy in a fast-moving, lean organization
  • Evidence of customer-centric product development: discovery interviews, Jobs-to-Be-Done, opportunity mapping, or equivalent methodologies
  • Human-centered, AI-forward. You believe technology should amplify human connection, not replace it. You get excited about AI that helps a fundraiser spend less time on manual work and more time building relationships.
  • Builder, not maintainer. You’re energized by creating something new, defining strategy where none exists, building ecosystems from early foundations, shipping capabilities that change how customers work.
  • Relational and technical in equal measure. You’re as comfortable whiteboarding API architecture with engineers as you are having a strategic conversation with a partner or executive leader.
  • Urgency drives accountability. You thrive in environments where shipping matters, where outcomes beat ceremonies, and where the best idea wins regardless of title.
  • Discovery-first. You validate problems before building solutions, using continuous discovery methodology. Regular customer touchpoints, opportunity solution trees, assumption testing, and AI-driven prototyping.
  • Ship regularly. You work within our EPD Operating Model rhythms with outcome-driven accountability.
  • Communicate relentlessly. You ensure the organization understands the what and why of every platform investment.
  • Think horizontally. You think across the entire portfolio. Your decisions impact every product team and every customer.

Benefits

  • Market competitive pay leveraging Carta data
  • Employee recognition through Bonusly (birthdays, anniversaries, achievements, etc.)
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company matching- 50% match up to 6% of compensation after 90 days
  • We value our employee’s work-life balance and encourage taking advantage of Unlimited PTO
  • Supportive time off including paid volunteer days and company holidays
  • Employer-contributed healthcare benefits, encompassing medical, dental, and vision coverage, with plans available for dependents and choices for Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA).
  • 12 weeks primary parent leave, 4 weeks secondary parent leave - full pay (adoption as well)
  • We pride ourselves on Community and host exciting company outings and events.
