Role Description We are looking for an experienced Test Engineer with 5+ years of experience in software testing, preferably in products involving 3D design, CAD workflows, or Autodesk ecosystem. The ideal candidate should have strong QA fundamentals, domain knowledge in 3D systems, and a passion for delivering high-quality software. This role requires collaboration with developers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams to ensure reliable validation across application layers. Key Responsibilities - Quality Assurance & Testing - Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies for web, desktop, and API-based applications. - Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing. - Identify test scenarios, create test cases, and ensure appropriate coverage across features. - Ensure product quality by validating Autodesk 3D workflows and design processes. - Collaboration & Delivery - Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand Autodesk 3D use cases and workflows. - Participate in requirement reviews and provide QA inputs early in the lifecycle. - Track defects, perform root cause analysis, and ensure timely closure. - Document test cases, test plans, and QA processes. - Continuous Improvement - Identify process gaps and suggest improvements in QA practices. - Contribute to improving testing efficiency across the team. - Mentor junior QA engineers and share domain knowledge. Qualifications - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - 5+ years of experience in software testing / QA. - Strong understanding of Autodesk API concepts, CAD workflows, and Autodesk 3D products. - Experience validating applications involving geometry, modeling, rendering, or visualization workflows. - Solid understanding of QA processes, test design techniques, and defect lifecycle. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Requirements - Experience in test automation: - Tools: Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium - Frameworks: TestNG, JUnit, NUnit - Basic scripting/programming knowledge (Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#). - Exposure to API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured, etc.). - Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI). - Familiarity with performance testing tools is a plus. - Experience testing desktop applications. Soft Skills - Strong communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to work effectively in Agile/Scrum environments. - Ownership mindset with focus on quality and delivery. - Mentorship experience is an added advantage.
