Senior Application Security Engineer

Material Security

• Own the end-to-end security of the Material application. • Secure the dependency supply chain while collaborating with engineering. • Develop internal automation to detect and block abuse patterns. • Conduct deep-dive security audits and code reviews. • Partner with infrastructure team to enhance Kubernetes deployments.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in application security.
  • Proficiency in multiple coding languages including Javascript/Typescript.
  • Experience securing cloud environments (GCP preferred) and strong Kubernetes security understanding.
  • Deep understanding of identity and access management (SAML, OAuth, IAM).
  • Ability to balance security risks with business velocity.
  • Willingness to engage in areas adjacent to traditional AppSec.
