Medical Science Liaison – Dermatology
Apogee Therapeutics
• Clinical Support • Collaborate with the clinical study teams to provide medical and scientific support for clinical sites • Key Opinion Leader (KOL) Engagement: • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clinical study investigators, key opinion leaders, and other external stakeholders in the field of dermatology • Act as a credible, scientific resource for KOLs, providing them with up-to-date and relevant information on Apogee’s development programs • Stay abreast of the latest developments, publications, and research in dermatology to effectively communicate with experts in the field • Stay informed of competitor products and market trends in dermatology • Internal Collaboration • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Clinical Operations, and Business Development & Strategy to ensure strategic alignment • Provide insights and feedback to internal teams based on interactions with external stakeholders
Job Requirements
- MSL: 2+ years relevant experience as outlined below
- Sr. MSL: 5+ years relevant experience as outlined below. In addition to the ideal MSL criteria outlined below, a Senior MSL candidate would bring established KOL relationships, demonstrated strategic territory engagement planning, experience supporting clinical trials, and a track record of leading multiple projects and congress initiatives. They would also serve as a peer leader and mentor, and exhibit intentional, cross-functional collaboration.
- Advanced degree in a relevant medical or scientific field (MD/DO, PharmD, PhD, MS or equivalent)
- Expertise in medical dermatology, specifically, atopic dermatitis preferred
- Strong understanding of clinical study execution and appropriate interactions with clinical study sites
- Knowledge of compliance requirements related to medical affairs activities and appropriate interactions with healthcare professionals
- Knowledge of the dermatology therapeutic area and current treatment paradigms in inflammatory skin diseases
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals

- Position requires up to 75% travel across the territory, including mandatory attendance at All Hands meetings typically held twice per year, as well as regular travel to meet with clinical study site personnel and KOLs and to attend scientific conferences in the US and internationally, etc.

• Screen, evaluate, and provide speech-language therapy for students with identified speech-language impairments.
• Assist Account Executives and Sales Consultants with day-to-day sales activities • Coordinate prospect meetings, teleconferences, customer reviews, and ongoing communications • Prepare, create, and deliver professional sales proposals, presentations, and RFP responses • Generate quotes, sales presentations, sales orders, and contract documentation for customers and internal stakeholders • Maintain accurate opportunity data and ensure CRM records remain current and complete • Establish and cultivate strong working relationships with vendor and supplier partners • Coordinate pricing, promotions, and product availability with telecom carriers and technology providers • Submit pricing requests and compile responses into quote comparison analyses • Assist with vendor registrations and onboarding requirements for new opportunities • Communicate vendor support and escalation paths to customers when needed • Process and track customer orders from submission through installation and activation • Record closed sales and maintain accurate revenue data within CRM systems • Assist with monthly revenue tracking and financial reporting activities • Support contract renewals, service upgrades, and agreement modifications • Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries related to quotes, orders, and services • Provide timely status updates and coordinate issue resolution with vendors and internal teams • Support scheduling and execution of customer calls, business reviews, and ongoing account activities • Maintain documentation related to contracts, proposals, and customer records • Assist with reporting, forecasting support, and sales performance tracking • Support process improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned
• Conduct on-site inspections and field investigations for assigned claims • Inspect property, structures, vehicles, equipment, or accident scenes as required by assignment • Document damages, conditions, causation indicators, and other relevant findings through notes, measurements, photographs, and diagrams • Evaluate loss facts and support investigation of coverage, liability, damages, and exposure • Obtain statements from insureds, claimants, witnesses, or other involved parties when needed • Prepare timely, accurate, and well-documented reports for clients and internal stakeholders • Coordinate with examiners, managers, carriers, policyholders, vendors, attorneys, and other claim participants as needed • Maintain complete file documentation in accordance with company standards, client instructions, and regulatory expectations • Escalate complex issues, large-loss exposures, litigation indicators, or specialty claim concerns appropriately • Manage field assignments within service expectations, turnaround times, and quality standards • Travel throughout the assigned VA/MD territory as required
