Revenue Operations Analyst, Sales

• Analyze the sales pipeline velocity, conversion rates, and stages to identify bottlenecks and optimize the health of the funnel. • Analyze RSM/AE productivity, territory performance, time-to-close, and support the creation of sales capacity and resource models for planning. • Provide analytical support for weekly/monthly sales forecasting and annual planning cycles by building and maintaining forecast models and underlying data sets. • Analyze specific metrics for the installed base (Upsell/Cross-sell rates, NRR, churn signals) to support account management and Customer Success teams. • Act as the data steward for key sales fields within the CRM (Salesforce), ensuring data is clean, consistent, and structured to enable accurate reporting. • Build and maintain dashboards that provide real-time visibility into sales performance against goals for leadership and frontline managers. • Proven ability to collect, synthesize, and translate complex data and quantitative analysis into clear, actionable insights and compelling presentations tailored effectively to executive, functional, and operational audiences.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Data Science, or a related quantitative field
- 5+ years of experience in Sales Analytics, Sales Operations, or Revenue Operations, with experience covering the full sales cycle (New Logo and Expansion)
- Strong functional knowledge of the entire B2B Sales process
- Advanced experience reporting and modeling sales data within Salesforce (or equivalent CRM)
- Strong proficiency with data visualization/BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Domo, Looker)

The primary purpose of a Revenue Officer I is to answer technical tax law questions and resolve relevant issues and increase compliance by ensuring the appropriate amount of tax is reported and paid by each taxpayer. This is accomplished by providing professional customer service to taxpayers as well as timely and appropriate enforcement action when necessary. This position adheres to NC statutes and the Department's policies and procedures. A Revenue Officer I deals with conflict in highly emotional situations and acts in a professional manner. Responsibilities of the Revenue Officer I to include, but are not limited to, the following: - Educate the public on State tax matters and promote compliance with State revenue laws - Determine liabilities, payment plans, installment agreements and adjust accounts based on research or documents provided by taxpayers - Communicate via telephone (inbound and outbound calls and phone queue) with taxpayers to assist and resolve routine matters and complete special projects - Utilize legal remedies to collect liabilities or secure returns - Utilize professional judgment to decide when to initiate civil action and what civil actions to employ to bring a case to a successful resolution - Work independently to examine, research, verify, and evaluate financial statements, returns, and other data - Travel to taxpayer locations within an assigned territory with limited overnight travel This professional position has a hybrid work schedule.
