About The Role As a Principal Product Designer, you'll shape the entire product experience across Jasper's AI tools. This is a senior individual contributor role focused on hands-on craft, systems thinking, and prototyping. You won't manage a team, but you will mentor and elevate those around you. You should be fluent in AI UX, adept at designing agentic workflows, and confident prototyping in Cursor or similar tools. You’re comfortable working in code and in Figma, and you care deeply about how things work as much as how they look. Bonus if you're already using AI to reshape your own design workflows. This fully remote position reports to the VP of Design and is open to candidates located within the continental US. What you will do at Jasper Define and evolve the end-to-end product UX across Jasper's platform Prototype AI workflows using tools like Cursor, Framer, and Figma Dev Mode Collaborate closely with PMs and engineers to shape roadmap and product direction Set a high bar for design craft and polish, from interaction to visual detail Lead design for complex, ambiguous product initiatives Mentor other designers through feedback and example Create scalable systems and patterns that unify the product experience Explore and shape how AI integrates across user journeys What you will bring to Jasper 12+ years of experience designing product experiences across platforms Strong portfolio showing high-quality, shipped work at scale Deep prototyping skills and comfort working in code and design tools Experience designing with AI or working on AI-powered products Track record of mentoring others and elevating team craft Systems-level thinking across UX, UI, and design infrastructure Excellent communication and collaboration skills across disciplines Compensation Range At Jasper, we believe in pay transparency and are committed to providing our employees and candidates with access to information about our compensation practices. The expected base salary for this role is $260,000 - $300,000. Compensation may vary based on relevant experience, skills, competencies, and certifications.
