• Partner with your design lead, PMs, and engineers to design and improve props and content creation, including upload, management, publishing, and (where relevant) monetization. • Design intuitive interfaces that support creators with varying levels of technical expertise, from hobbyists to professional developers. • Translate technical concepts into approachable UX through thoughtful flows, clear visual hierarchy, and user-friendly microcopy. • Pair with the community and support teams to understand creator pain points and use those insights to improve tool usability and reduce friction. • Create wireframes, prototypes, and polished mockups across platforms (Desktop, VR, Mobile, Web). • Run lightweight usability testing (concept checks, prototype tests) to validate designs early, identify friction, and iterate quickly.

• Work in cross-functional squads, collaborating with PMs, tech leads, and stakeholders to create human-centered solutions. • Contribute to research, prototyping, and validation of ideas, translating needs into intuitive and accessible experiences. • Propose and develop product solutions using artificial intelligence. • Represent design in strategic discussions, advocating best practices and promoting a strong product culture. • Create and maintain journeys, flows, and interfaces using tools such as Figma. • Help evolve our Design System and ensure consistency across platforms. • Participate in user research and turn insights into design decisions.

• Own product design from concept to execution across web platforms. • Translate complex workflows into simple, intuitive user experiences. • Create user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs in Figma. • Maintain and evolve our design system for consistency and scalability. • Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to ship pixel-perfect UI. • Conduct usability testing and incorporate feedback into iterations. • Advocate for the user in product and roadmap discussions. • Ensure designs are accessible, performant, and aligned with brand identity.

• Own the strategy, execution, and measurement of Workiva-wide Design Foundations initiatives. • Lead the architecture and long-term evolution of Workiva’s enterprise design system, ensuring it remains inclusive and extensible. • Partner deeply with Product Management and Engineering to prioritize initiatives, align roadmaps, and translate complex, cross-functional needs into actionable plans. • Guide and support product designers in using design system assets effectively. • Define the aspirational future-state vision for how Workiva products will mature. • Establish success metrics for system adoption and use insights to guide prioritization. • Mentor designers across teams, raising design maturity and systems fluency organization-wide while fostering a strong culture of systems thinking.
