Who you are: The Executive Director, Seasonal Exchanges, is responsible for the oversight and leadership of all the Summer Work and Travel, Camp, and Hiring Services group- the largest CIEE BridgeUSA business, to ensure job sales and placement goals are met in a way that aligns with CIEE's mission and values. The Executive Director is responsible for the CIEE BridgeUSA business and departmental oversight, including P&L, staff management, sales management, host account management, hiring event services, and other projects as needed that align with the departmental strategic plans and goals. What you'll do: - Oversight for the growth and implementation strategy of the Summer Work and Travel, Camp, and Hiring Services group. - Manage a team of directors and provide departmental leadership so that the team will effectively execute sales plans and meet or exceed placement goals. - Develop a sales and marketing strategy to ensure that CIEE meets its sales and placement goals for Work & Travel USA and Camp Exchange USA, including lead generation, cold calling, appointments, presentations, and obtaining commitments. - Develop a hiring event strategy that maximizes CIEE placements at hosts. - Develop onboarding and training directors to help their staff develop effective sales strategies, hiring strategies, and strong relationships with host employers and community organizations. - Ensure that directors and their teams have the requisite knowledge and skills to meet both job sales and role fulfillment (placements). - Provide timely and specific feedback on performance to team members. - Track and evaluate weekly, monthly, and annual progress. - Perform annual performance setting and goals reviews for each direct report, along with quarterly check-in reviews to check individual goal progress. - Engage in high-level sales activities. - Sell to prospective and current clients as required. - Create and conduct presentations and meetings with hosts, associations, and other stakeholders. - Build rapport with clients and stakeholders. - As the senior leader, develop a regular cadence of connecting with host employers to build relationships and ensure CIEE is meeting their needs. - Collaborate with Participant Services to ensure the team is facilitating positive participant program experiences and team communication. - Collaborate with the Senior Director of International Sales & Operations to foster relationships with International Representatives. - Review external events, such as trade shows, International Student Outreach Program events, and other activities, to determine participation that will add to the growth of the programs and support sales. - In collaboration with the VP Placement Sales, Senior Director International Sales & Operations, and other leaders, identify CIEE-run/branded events or programming that will add stakeholder value to the program. - Additional responsibilities - Willingness to travel required; regular business trips include domestic trips and overseas hiring events (20 - 30%). - Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. What you'll bring: - Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred. - A minimum of 12-15 years of previous sales success is required. - A minimum of 5-7 years of management/leadership experience preferred. - Experience managing P&L, budgeting, and reporting required. - Strong verbal and written communication skills are required. - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail required. - Proactive and preferred for working in a fast-paced environment. - Ability to work with remote field staff. - Ability to investigate and analyze information to draw conclusions and solve problems efficiently. - Energetic, personable, goal-oriented, and team-oriented. - Tolerance for ambiguity and sense of humor. - Technology proficiency required - experience with Microsoft Suite, Teams, and Salesforce, preferred. - Innovative, creative, and flexible in a changing environment. - A passion for CIEE's mission and global exchange!
