Role Description SAIC's Acquisition Team represents the full depth and breadth of the acquisition value chain - from the sell side (customer engagement and strategy development) to the buy side (program execution, strategic alliances, supply chain management and subcontractor development). We are the full acquisition organization that supports our external and internal customer mission. Our dynamic team of acquisition professionals support key business areas such as Digital Transformation, Engineering & Integration, and Enterprise IT. SAIC's Acquisition Team organization is seeking a Pricing Associate to support proposal activities spanning our diverse range of government and commercial customers. - Interpreting RFP requirements - Collaborating with program teams to build pricing strategies and models - Conducting competitive pricing analysis - Estimating labor and/or material costs - Projecting the impact of pricing changes on revenue/profit - Partnering with contracts, subcontracts, business development, finance, and other relevant functional areas to appropriately align the pricing strategy Pricing Analysts are responsible for cradle-to-grave financial responsibility for proposals and will perform work in accordance with company policies & procedures, applicable laws, customer requirements, & sound business practices. Candidates must demonstrate strong analytical, collaborative, critical thinking, and problem-solving experience. Candidates must also work well under pressure, given the complexity of engagements and proposal deadlines.
