CET Design Specialist
Lakeshore Learning Materials
• Providing guidance and training to team members on CET Designer software use • Identifying and resolving basic CET software issues, escalating as needed • Incorporating feedback from clients and internal stakeholders while maintaining design intent and quality • Creating structured, engaging CET learning experiences covering topics such as contract furnishing, space planning and product specification • Maintaining and updating CET catalogs, pricing data and product information • Organizing, maintaining and revising CAD and CET project files in accordance with company standards • Developing space plans, furniture layouts and typicals using industry-standard software such as CET Designer, AutoCAD, Revit or similar tools • Creating photorealistic renderings and client-facing presentations to effectively communicate design concepts • Managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality expectations • Staying current on CET best practices to support continuous improvement
Job Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in CET, including advanced features and extensions
- Ability to read and interpret architectural floor plans and construction drawings
- Working knowledge of space planning, furniture systems and design documentation
- Extensive experience collaborating with external and internal stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail, organization and follow‑through
- Effective written and verbal communication skills

Role Description Support development of detailed design and construction documents for water treatment and wastewater treatment plants. Support design documentation through sketches, electronic models, engineering calculations, and other visual formats. Assist in the development of technical equipment and specifications. Perform hydraulic calculations using company standard software and proprietary software. Perform calculations to specify equipment, such as: - Pumps - Compressors - Separators - Heaters - Heat Exchangers - Columns Work with Controls Engineers to develop control philosophy and cause and effect charts. Attend project coordination meetings with internal team members and/or external consultants. 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.). The salary is $125,237 - $145,000 per year. Role Description The Designer I is fully remote. The candidate will work on gas and power design projects and be responsible for project design, field survey, QA/QC, and client relations.
