Engineering Manager

• Own the technical direction and impact of the Beta Workflows team. You’ll be responsible for its capabilities, quality and capacity • Manage and grow the team. Actively participate in the recruiting and retention of team members. • Write production quality code and provide effective and constructive feedback by reviewing others’ designs and work. • Set consistent standards for code; testing and fixing bugs throughout the process and managing your team to do the same • Contribute to Stellar’s Engineering Culture. Participate in x-org technical and leadership forums to create a high performing organization. • Work with senior engineering and product leaders in aligning on product roadmaps, specifications, and priorities.
Job Requirements
- At least ten years of total experience, with recent hands-on experience writing production level code (Python (preferred) / Java / C++ / Go)
- At least 3 years of experience managing software development teams with hands-on involvement in system architecture, design and performance
- Expertise in relational databases, such as PostgreSQL
- Experience with Django or with a similar web framework
- Expertise in a cloud platform such as AWS (preferred), GCP, Azure
