Customs Import Analyst/Rater

Role Description As an Import Analyst, you are responsible for liaising with multiple third parties (including Canada Customs, our clients, and shipping companies) to ensure international Truck Freight imports are cleared for entry into Canada. - Use multiple computer programs to input required information into our database. - Communicate with clients and transportation carriers via email and phone. - Partner with internal departments, such as Logistics and Finance, plus varying government agencies to resolve discrepancies. Qualifications - Clearance & Rating experience required. - High School Diploma required. - Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in a Customs Brokerage environment, clearing ground shipments. - Proficiency in MS Office and database skills. - Strong communication skills – verbal and written is required. - Accuracy and attention to detail is required. - CCS designation is an asset. - Must have Custom Import Analyst Experience.
