What You'll Do - Drive Process Performance — Lead the development and execution of enterprise process monitoring and performance management systems to ensure consistent, high-quality application across operations. - Provide Technical Oversight — Guide complex process optimization, troubleshooting, and investigations to drive reliable, safe, and efficient operations. - Coordinate Engineering Resources — Prioritize and align internal and external process engineering resources to support operational needs, specialized analyses, and technology assessments. - Champion Best Practices — Facilitate cross-site best-practice networks and knowledge-sharing forums to improve consistency, capability, and technical learning across the organization. - Ensure Quality & Accountability — Oversee the review and quality of unit health monitoring outputs and participate in performance and vendor reviews to assess effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities. - Evaluate New Technologies — Lead technical reviews for new process technologies and significant process modifications to support informed decision-making and risk management. - Build Technical Capability — Oversee the development and implementation of technical training and capability-building programs for process engineering roles. - Develop Talent — Mentor and develop process engineering talent through technical coaching, guidance, and escalation support. - Travel — 50% Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related engineering discipline - 15+ years of experience in process engineering roles within refining, specialty products, or chemical manufacturing environments - Demonstrated experience providing technical leadership, coordination, or oversight across multiple teams, sites, or initiatives - Proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional partners such as operations, safety, and other engineering disciplines Requirements - Enterprise process engineering oversight and systems thinking - Complex problem-solving and root cause analysis - Cross-functional collaboration and technical influence - Prioritization and coordination of technical resources - Technical coaching and capability development - Clear written and verbal communication across all organizational levels Benefits Salary and benefits commensurate with experience.
