• Own the operational backbone of API’s AI Enablement program • Run intake, hypothesis design, metric definition, and outcome documentation for AI experiments across Engineering, Client Delivery, and Corporate functions • Run end-to-end management of AI pilots across the portfolio • Drive org-wide training, communications, and enablement for Claude Enterprise and Microsoft Copilot • Produce the monthly AI scorecard: experiments launched, seats utilized, automation rates, FTE-equivalent savings, and experiments graduated • Manage onboarding from initial cohort through expansion, including use-case intake, prioritization, and graduation criteria • Manage, analyze, and optimize internal utilization of AI across the organization • Own day-to-day relationship management for AI tooling vendors and the sandbox platform • Drive alignment and execution on strategic initiatives across the organization.

• Partner with account teams (AEs, Solution Advisory, Forward-Deployed Engineers, Coupa Spend Lab) throughout the end-to-end customer lifecycle to shape deal strategy, align on value hypotheses, and create compelling commercial narratives. • Lead high-quality discovery with senior and executive stakeholders to understand strategic objectives, current processes, pain points, and organizational constraints across the sourcing, procurement, supply chain, finance, and treasury functions—with a particular focus on identifying high-value AI and automation use cases. • Develop business cases and ROI models that synthesize complex datasets, benchmark performance, and quantify achievable outcomes across improved savings rates, increased spend capture, process improvements, and working capital optimization. • Create and deliver executive-level presentations that clearly communicate findings, recommendations, and target metrics with a strong storytelling arc. • Guide account teams as a deal captain, ensuring value is consistently positioned, integrated into the sales strategy, and reinforced throughout the cycle. • Contribute to territory and account planning, identifying where value-led conversations can unlock pipeline and accelerate customer engagement. • Mentor and elevate Value Advisory peers, sharing frameworks, best practices, and content development, and insights. • Design, develop, and facilitate AI Transformation Workshops tailored to each customer’s spend data, organizational maturity, and strategic priorities. Workshops should identify 1–2 high-value AI use cases, assess technical feasibility, and build executive commitment for Coupa Compose and AI agent adoption. • Conduct AI readiness assessments evaluating customer maturity across culture, data quality, process standardization, and change management capacity. Frame readiness gaps in business terms and co-develop adoption roadmaps with customer stakeholders. • Serve as the connective tissue between customer vision and technical build within the cross-functional pod model (Value Advisory, Solution Advisory, FDEs, Business Transformation Consultants). Define the “what” and “why” of the AI transformation vision while enabling architects and engineers to define the “how.” • Guide customers through organizational change management (OCM) implications of moving from manual to AI-augmented and agentic workflows, including workforce evolution, new governance structures, and Centers of Excellence for AI-driven procurement.

Role Description We are looking for an AI Automation Specialist who can bridge the gap between operations, systems, and AI-driven process improvement. You will work closely with operational stakeholders to streamline workflows, integrate systems, improve data visibility, and build AI-supported tools that help teams work smarter and faster. This is the first dedicated AI hire inside the business — a rare opportunity to own what gets built, ship working solutions from week one, and help shape how an entire industry adopts AI, rather than be buried inside an enterprise where nothing lands for 18 months. Key Responsibilities - Identify repetitive or manual workflows across operations and recommend automation opportunities. - Design and implement AI-driven process improvements across sales, estimating, projects, and finance teams. - Build automations for: - Account reconciliations - Tender document preparation - Data entry and document management - Reporting and project tracking - Workflow approvals and notifications - Integrate systems and platforms to improve operational visibility and efficiency. - Develop AI-assisted tools, prompts, templates, and workflows for internal teams. - Work closely with stakeholders to understand operational pain points and deliver scalable solutions. - Improve documentation and process standardisation across the business. - Support adoption and training of newly implemented systems and automations. - Research and recommend emerging AI tools and technologies relevant to the construction industry. Qualifications - Proven experience in AI automation, workflow optimisation, or systems implementation. - Experience with automation tools such as Zapier, Make, Power Automate, n8n, or similar. - Strong understanding of AI tools and practical business applications. - Experience integrating CRMs, project management systems, finance tools, or cloud platforms. - Ability to analyse operational workflows and improve business processes. - Strong problem-solving and systems-thinking mindset. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Highly organised with strong documentation skills. Preferred Skills and Qualifications - Experience working within construction, engineering, or trades businesses. - Experience automating financial or reconciliation processes. - Familiarity with construction platforms such as Procore, Procure Pro, Hammertech, CostX, or Nexvia. - HubSpot CRM experience. - Hands-on experience with Claude or the Anthropic API. • Embed with enterprise customers to understand their procurement and adjacent workflows at the process level: how work actually moves, where decisions break down, and where the highest-ROI problems sit. • Build and deploy AI agent solutions using Zip's AppStudio and AI infrastructure, configured to the customer's specific environment and data, not off-the-shelf. • Own the customer relationship and manage parallel workstreams across a small portfolio of accounts, keeping delivery on track and stakeholder trust high. • Surface the next problem worth solving before the customer can articulate it, with the commercial instinct to understand how that expands contract value. • Produce architecture documentation that captures what was built, why, and what it would take to generalize across other accounts. • Feed structured learnings back to product and engineering so the solutions you build make the platform more repeatable over time. • Represent Zip on-site at customer locations when required, running live testing and stakeholder sessions against real data and real workflows.
