Mid Data Engineer – Data & AI Factory

Devoteam

• work as part of the Data & AI Factory team, working with the customer to support their data-ops and AI projects • be involved in designing, building, maintaining and troubleshooting data pipelines, models and transformations • help to build, maintain and troubleshoot data observability solutions to improve data quality • help turn data into valuable business insights, preparing custom solutions optimised for each client • act as a trusted advisor for junior team members • lead by example

Job Requirements

  • BA/BS in Computer Science or Math, or related technical field / equivalent experience
  • Experience with Python
  • Knowledge of GO
  • Good DBT knowledge
  • Proficient in SQL
  • Good knowledge of Power BI
  • Some experience with Vertex AI and Dataiku (certification a big asset)
  • Experience with programming in Agile methodology as well as ITIL best practices
  • Knowledge of database and data analysis technologies, including relational and NoSQL databases, data warehouse design, and ETL/ELT pipelines.
  • Relevant experience with GCP data products and services
  • Some experience with job orchestration tools (e.g. Airflow, Dagster)
  • Some experience with data ingestion tools (e.g. Fivetran, Airbyte)
  • Some experience in Hadoop and using platforms such as Apache Spark, Pig, or Hive
  • Fluency in English

Role Description Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, a national law firm with offices in all 50 States, has an immediate opening for a Financial Data Reporter. This is a remote or hybrid role reporting to one of the firm’s many locations across the US. The primary function of this entry to mid-level role is to review, prioritize, and respond to ad-hoc data inquiries from internal users by utilizing data warehouses, financial application tools, or simple SQL queries. This position requires strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills along with high computer literacy and the ability to collaborate across a multitude of departments and varying user financial aptitudes within the firm. The ability to work efficiently under pressure, manage competing data requests, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment is essential.
