Job Description

Registered Dietitian – Eating Disorders

Equip

• Assist patients and families in transforming maladaptive eating patterns into a healthy relationship with food through ongoing support. • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based upon unique patient needs. • Guide process of exposure to fear/challenge foods. • Communicate meal plans and any nutrition related concerns clearly to all team members. • Echo treatment team’s directives with families. • Assist with discharge planning and update treatment plans weekly. • Deliver evidence-based nutrition education. • Establish a therapeutic relationship with families, including rapport building and boundary setting. • Maintain thorough documentation within Equip’s electronic medical record.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree or college and course work accredited or approved by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
  • Licensed RDN required, and eating disorder experience preferred.
  • Manage a caseload of up to 80 patients.
  • Strong skills in communication and collaboration with diverse teams.
  • Experience working on interdisciplinary teams.
  • Organized and results-driven.
  • Ability to understand and balance business needs and clinical priorities.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, subject to rapid change and innovation.
