Professional Learning Specialist, VA Math
Kiddom
• Deliver engaging, high-impact, and value-driven professional learning sessions to educators and instructional leaders, both virtually and in person. • Personalize professional learning experiences to meet the unique needs of each district, ensuring alignment with their instructional priorities. • Foster strong relationships with Customer Success Managers and Account Executives, ensuring alignment on customer needs and goals. • Support customer onboarding and implementation, guiding educators through Kiddom’s platform and instructional resources. • Gather insights from educators and district leaders to inform ongoing HQIM and Kiddom LIT adoption, Kiddom support and professional learning strategies. • Stay informed on best practices in instructional technology, HQIM implementation, and adult learning principles to continually improve Kiddom’s professional learning experiences. • Pioneer the integration of AI-powered tools to accelerate the development and delivery of professional learning content, and champion Kiddom’s vision for AI-enhanced Learning Intelligence Technology with educators and district leaders. • Support and coordinate teams of contractor facilitators across Virginia—calibrating session quality, providing coaching/feedback, and ensuring consistent delivery aligned to Kiddom’s professional learning approach.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in classroom instruction and/or instructional coaching.
- Experience delivering professional learning sessions to educators, coaches, and district leaders.
- Excellent facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and support educators at various levels.
- Demonstrated experience supporting Virginia math instruction through curriculum implementation, coaching, or professional learning.
- Expertise in Virginia DOE Math curriculums (or Illustrative Mathematics informed practice).
- Experience leading or supporting contractor-based delivery teams. Comfort with technology integration in K-12 instruction and familiarity with Kiddom’s platform and HQIM.
- Advanced use of AI tools to optimize professional learning design and deliveryHighly organized and able to manage multiple engagements across a geographic region.
- Willingness to travel as needed for in-person training and district
