Role Description The Vice President, Fundraising is a senior enterprise leader responsible for setting, strengthening, and delivering a multi-year fundraising strategy that sustains and accelerates TNTP’s impact. This role is charged with building a world-class fundraising function and culture—ensuring TNTP has the right models, processes, systems, and capabilities to fund its evolving strategic priorities over time. Role Description This is a management level position which operates under limited supervision. The Regional Vice President must actively lead and manage their direct reports and interact with customers throughout their region. The Regional Vice President must collaborate with their team to reach production and sales targets while aligning with corporate goals and risk objectives. - Directly manage a team of Account Managers located within the respective regional territory. - Assist in establishing production goals, and expense budgets for the team and proactively manage the team to achieve the established targets. - Cultivate and foster a team environment through constant communication, advising team of best practices, discussing upcoming deadlines, and providing training on Essent policies, procedures, and guidelines as needed. - Communicate to team direction from executive management to ensure the business development staff understands the Company’s strategic corporate initiatives. - Assist Account Managers with selecting their target customers while ensuring alignment with Essent’s strategic direction. - Participate on sales calls and/or visits on a consistent basis with Account Managers. - Oversee and assist on the lender’s onboarding and provide constructive feedback and training. - Manage regional sales territory by actively supporting national accounts, attending conferences and promoting Essent’s product offerings, ranking customer focus and determining top targets. - Utilize trends to develop a communication strategy for both prospects and existing clients. - In partnership with Senior Management and Human Resources, perform other managerial duties, including but not limited to talent sourcing, training, budgets, and performance reviews. - Research, document and support all submission of risk, contract underwriting, and exception requests. - Represent Essent at client meetings, conferences, trade shows and events to promote Essent’s product offerings and broaden the business exposure within the mortgage industry. - Promote and monitor the use of Essent’s internal technology resources (Sugar CRM, Cognos Reporting, etc.) within the regional team. - Develop and understand the dependencies between individual departments in the company and how they impact the company as a whole. - Interact with other Regional Vice Presidents, National Account Managers, Title Account Managers, Underwriting Managers, and other Essent senior level managers in a professional manner. - Balance regional needs with those of other areas in the company and demonstrate the ability to interact with other departments at a high level. - Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree preferred. - Eight (8) plus years of relevant business development experience within the financial services, mortgage, secondary markets, capital markets or mortgage insurance industries. - Demonstrated history of leadership and ability to drive strategic initiatives from concept to completion. - The Regional Vice President must obtain a license and be appointed by Essent as a representative (as may be required by the state) in the state in which they reside as well as in each state in which they sell, solicit, or negotiate mortgage insurance, be it a principal place of business or a branch office. - Position requires the candidate to be highly skilled in the following areas: sales, leadership and management, interpersonal communication, collaboration, and presentation. - Demonstrated personal initiative, strong work ethic and entrepreneurial skills; the ability to play whatever role is needed to ensure the job is done well. - Ability to interact at a high level with Essent senior leadership and the senior leadership of our lender and prospect accounts. - Significant travel required. - Valid driver’s license. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Excellent time management skills. - Strong customer service orientation. Role Description The Vice President (VP), Non-QM Underwriting manages the day-to-day operations of the Non-QM Underwriting team in accordance with established policies, procedures, and appropriate guidelines.
