Payroll Coordinator

Role Description This position will work under the guidance of the Payroll Manager in the USA and will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service and accurate multi-state payroll processing. - Ensure bi-weekly payroll is processed in a timely and accurate manner. - Enter salary adjustments, commission payments, bonuses, vacation, sick pay, and other payroll-related data in preparation for payroll processing. - Review computed wages and correct errors to ensure the accuracy of earnings. - Ensure that all changes to payroll are processed correctly. - Process wage garnishment, pay levies, or other involuntary court-ordered payments in a timely manner, including reporting to the necessary State office or jurisdiction and assisting employees with general process. - Assist employees with general payroll questions and educate as needed on company-specific payroll policies. - Manage tasks to ensure the efficient employee onboarding and ensure timely processing of employee status changes including new hires, salary changes, classifications, and terminations. - Maintain employee files, updating documents to SharePoint/Cloud. - Work closely with Human Resource and Accounting on all payroll-related financial analysis and issues. - Continuously identify and develop solutions to automate processes and improve efficiency. - Perform quarterly deduction audit to ensure accuracy on benefits and other deductions. - Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications - Associates or bachelor’s degree in a related field. - 2+ years of payroll processing experience. - ADP WFN experience preferred. - Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills. - Commitment to customer service and strong sense of ownership for projects and results. - Strong problem solver with good analytical skills. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. - Ability to prioritize work and complete projects on time. - Demonstrate drive and initiative, and maintain confidentiality of information. - Very detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy. Requirements - Experience processing payroll for multi-states preferred. - Familiarity with federal and state labor leave laws, especially CA.
