A successful candidate will contribute to the completion of specific programs and projects dedicated to building and delivering of airplanes. You will provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Develop solutions that are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organization objectives. Position Responsibilities: - Develop, maintain and modifie basic Aircraft Interior Products and components. - Perform detail, assembly and installation design (e.g., layout interfaces definition, spatial integration, functionality and producibility). - Support analysis and design reviews. - Assist with supplier development, test and production activities and coordination with the supplier to optimize the design and achieve program goals. - Follow documented processes, specifications and procedures that support design and manufacturing of Aircraft Interior Products. - Support development of Statements of Work. - Analyze functional and physical inputs used in development of integrated design architecture. Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences). - 3+ years of work experience as a design engineer. - Upper-intermediate level of English. Preferred Qualifications: - General knowledge of aircraft passenger systems and airframe structure. - Understanding of stress analysis for design and material selection. Knowledge of drafting and dimensioning fundamentals. - Knowledge of 3-D CAD software for development of details, assemblies, and installation documentation. - Candidates must be able to plan and organize their time to work productively and efficiently while being able to adjust to multiple demands.
